GOODS+GADGETS® 100% Plastic Poker Cards, Washable Double Deck, Red and Blue Backs

Made from 100% plastic, these playing cards are designed to spring back into shape after shuffling rather than keeping a permanent bend or crease.

The set contains two 54-card French-suited decks, with red backs on one and blue backs on the other. The different backs make it easier to keep the decks separate during play.

They are intended for poker, rummy, canasta, skat and other games that use a standard French-suited deck.

Pros

The practical difference from a paper deck is resilience around regular handling and spills. The cards are flexible and described as returning to shape after shuffling, their plastic material also repels moisture, so a splash need not mean setting the game aside to dry out a deck.

Having two decks in one set gives you a choice for games that use both, or a straightforward way to keep cards for separate games apart. The red and blue backs help with that distinction, while the card faces are described as identical. The set is listed for games with two or more players.

The essentials

This is a set of two full 54-card decks, rather than a single pack. Both use French suits, making them suitable for familiar card games including poker, rummy, canasta and skat. The product information also describes the surface as smooth for dealing and shuffling, though how it feels in hand will depend on personal preference.

The plastic cards are presented as resistant to permanent creasing and marking under normal playing conditions. That makes them a sensible alternative to paper cards for regular game nights where drinks or snacks are on the table. They are still playing cards, not a different game system, so the main buying decision is whether you want a reusable plastic set instead of the familiar feel of paper.

How to look after it

After play, wipe the cards with a damp cloth to remove moisture or everyday mess. Their water-repellent plastic construction is more suited to this kind of clean-up than paper, which can absorb a spill and warp. The product information recommends wiping rather than describing any special cleaning products or care routine, so there is no need to assume more than that.

For a practical setting, the set could suit a poker or rummy night where the cards are handled repeatedly and refreshments are nearby. Keeping the two colours of backs apart also helps when one deck is being used while the other is set aside. The included component is listed as cards, with a box as the container type.

Final verdict

You’ll like it if you want two plastic decks for several standard card games and value being able to wipe away spills rather than replacing a paper pack after it becomes marked or warped. The separate red and blue backs are useful when the decks need to be distinguished.

It might not be a great match if you specifically want the feel of paper cards, the set is made entirely from plastic, and the information does not give a card size or a more detailed account of its handling. For regular games where cleanability and resistance to lasting bends matter, those are the relevant reasons to choose this set over a basic paper deck.
