Tips for day-to-day use
These panels are intended to absorb sound and help improve the acoustics of a room. That makes them relevant for recording rooms and podcast spaces, as well as playrooms, offices and home theatres. In a recording area, you can position the set around the part of the room where you work, in a TV room, use the panels as part of a broader approach to room acoustics.
The panels arrive vacuum-compressed. After opening, leave them for 24–48 hours to return to their normal thickness, or soak them in water and allow them to dry. Customer feedback praises the panels’ ease of fitting, while opinions on their sound-reduction effect are mixed: some customers say they work well, and others report little or no impact. Their intended role is sound absorption within a room, so consider the room treatment you want when planning where to use them.
