Lamicall STDT02-EU-BK Rotating Tablet Stand, Foldable 15 mm Design

For anyone who needs a comfortable way to position a tablet or mobile phone on a desk, the Lamicall STDT02-EU-BK combines a rotating base with adjustable support arms. It suits everyday viewing, video calls and online learning.

The two-axis foldable design lets you adjust the viewing angle and height, while the base rotates through 360° to change between portrait and landscape orientation.

When a fixed-angle stand would be less convenient, could a flexible viewing position make your desk routine easier? This stand is designed to adapt as your activity changes.

Best use cases

Use it on a desk or table for watching a film, following an online lesson, joining a video call or keeping a screen visible while you work. The rotating base makes it straightforward to change orientation, while the adjustable support helps position the screen for the task at hand. It can also be used in the kitchen or living room, and its foldable design makes it practical to pack for a train journey, flight or café visit.

The stand is made for tablets and smartphones from 4.7 to 13 inches, including iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Fire HD, Surface Pro and Nintendo Switch devices. For devices larger than 12 inches, such as a 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the product guidance recommends placing the device horizontally. The 18 mm-wide foldable hooks are designed to accommodate thicker cases, and silicone pads on the hooks and support surface help protect the device from slipping and scratching.

Benefits

The combination of a metal base and support arms gives the stand a stable foundation for desk use, while non-slip silicone pads on the underside help keep it in place. The support surface and hooks also have silicone protection to help prevent scratches on the device. Other parts use ABS, giving the stand a smooth finish where it meets your hands or equipment.

A 360° base and adjustable, foldable arms offer more freedom than a stand with a fixed viewing angle: turn the screen to share it, switch orientation for reading, or adjust its position for a call. When folded, the stand is 15 mm thick, so it takes up little room in a bag between uses. Customer feedback praises its compactness and portability, and some buyers find it holds devices securely, experiences of stability are mixed, with others reporting that it can topple.

Before you decide

Can I switch between portrait and landscape? Yes. The base rotates through 360°, allowing you to change the device’s orientation, and the two-axis structure supports angle and height adjustment.

Will it fit a tablet with a case? The foldable hooks are 18 mm wide and are designed for thicker cases, including on a 13-inch tablet. The hooks and support surface have silicone pads to help protect the device.

Can I use it for a phone as well as a tablet? Yes. It is described as compatible with tablets and smartphones from 4.7 to 13 inches, including iPhone models and a range of tablet families.

When it makes sense

Choose this stand if you want one foldable desk holder for different screen sizes and everyday tasks, with the flexibility to adjust height, angle and orientation. Its compact folded profile is especially useful when you move between home, work and travel, while the rotating base makes it easy to reposition a screen for viewing, calls or shared use.
