Feandrea BADDI PGW314GD01 Dog Sofa Bed, Faux Fur, Raised Sides, Dove Grey

Ribbed faux rabbit fur gives this dog sofa bed a soft surface for resting, while raised padded sides provide a place to lean a head or neck. Its rectangular 120 x 85 cm shape is intended for dogs up to 45 kg. Choose it for a cushioned, enclosed feel rather than the simplicity of a flat mat, the removable cover also makes routine cleaning more straightforward.

The zip allows the inner cushion to be removed so the outer cover can be washed. The cover can be washed in warm water at no more than 40°C, the inner padding is not washable. The bed arrives vacuum-packed, so shake and fluff it before use. It may take 48–72 hours to reach its full size after unpacking. Sewn products can vary by 2–3 cm, which is worth bearing in mind when comparing the dimensions with your dog’s usual sleeping space.

Who it’s for

This size is listed as suitable for dogs up to 45 kg, but the weight limit alone does not establish whether the sleeping area will suit every dog’s preferred position. Measure your dog and consider how much room they need to stretch out before choosing it. The raised edges are a practical feature for dogs that like a padded boundary around their resting spot, a dog that prefers an entirely open, flat surface may favour a simple mat instead.

It suits you if you want a soft, sofa-style bed with a removable cover and a non-slip underside. The underside has anti-slip dots, intended to help keep the bed in place on the floor. It’s not for you if you need the inner filling itself to be machine-washable: the care details state that only the cover can be washed. Keep it away from heat sources of 40°C and above, on underfloor heating, the manufacturer advises using it on a carpet.

Everyday use

The padded sides give a dog somewhere to rest its head, while the faux-fur surface and PP filling create a plush sleeping area. In a typical home, it could sit in a quiet corner as a dedicated place for a dog to settle between walks or while the household is relaxing. At 4.4 kg, it can be moved between rooms when needed, though its 120 x 85 cm footprint means it will take up more floor space than a compact mat.

Buyer feedback highlights softness, comfort and a size that many owners feel works for their pets. Some also praise the feel of the fabric. There is a less consistent note about how well the bed keeps its shape: some customers describe it as comfortable, while others say it can become flat, and one reports that the sides flatten a little. Those comments are useful context, but they do not establish how it will hold up for every dog or household.

Buying verdict

The Feandrea BADDI PGW314GD01 is worth considering if you want a large, cushioned bed with raised edges and a washable outer cover, rather than a basic flat sleeping pad. Its main trade-off is the cleaning arrangement: the inner padding cannot be washed, so care is limited to the cover. Measure the available floor space as well as your dog, and allow time for the bed to fluff up after unpacking. The combination of a soft surface, padded sides and non-slip dots makes it a considered fit for dogs that like a more enclosed resting place, a flatter, more open style may suit dogs with different preferences.
