VASAGLE LWD048W44 Reversible Computer Desk with Shelves, Maple White

Specifications

If you need a home office desk whose shelf can sit on either side, the VASAGLE LWD048W44 is designed around that flexibility. Its rectangular worktop is paired with additional shelving for notebooks, files and other everyday items. The listed information gives two different depths, so the exact measurement is worth clarifying if your space is tight.

• Name: VASAGLE LWD048W44
• Type: Computer desk with reversible shelf
• Dimensions: 56D x 120W x 120H centimetres in the item specifications, product description also gives 120 x 60 x 120 cm
• Colour: Maple White, the description also lists Pearl White
• Materials: Engineered wood/particleboard top and alloy steel frame
• Weight: 18.6 kg
• Maximum tabletop load: 50 kg
• Features: Adjustable feet, shelf can be positioned on the left or right

The size difference is specifically in the stated depth: 56 cm in one specification and 60 cm in the product description. That matters when measuring a narrow room or planning the desk against other furniture. The listed 120 cm height also appears in both dimensions, so check that suits your intended setup.

Getting the most from it

The reversible shelf lets you arrange the desk around the room rather than committing to one fixed layout. Place it on the side that keeps books or files within reach, while leaving the main surface for a computer and work materials. The product description says the 120 x 60 cm top can accommodate up to two monitors, actual usable space will depend on the equipment and what else you keep on the desk.

Adjustable feet are intended to help compensate for uneven flooring. The stated tabletop limit is 50 kg, so keep the combined load within that figure. Assembly is described as using labelled parts and illustrated instructions, with no professional tools required. Buyers also commonly praise the clear instructions and straightforward assembly, alongside the desk’s steadiness and roomy feel, these are customer impressions rather than a guarantee of the result in every setup.

Compared with a basic desk without storage, this model gives you a shelf and a choice of which side it occupies. It suits you if a compact work area with nearby storage is more useful than a plain tabletop. It’s not for you if the exact depth is critical and you need that measurement settled before arranging the room.

Box contents

The package is listed as containing the computer desk, an accessory kit and instructions. The desk combines a steel frame with particleboard panels, so avoid prolonged contact with water and keep it away from fire, hot objects and sharp objects, as advised in the product information.

What to clarify

Can the shelf go on either side? Yes. The shelf is described as flexibly attached and can be positioned on the left or right to suit the layout.

How much weight can the tabletop support? The stated maximum static load is 50 kg. The product information advises against exceeding the limit.

Which depth should I allow for? The specifications give 56 cm, while the product description states 60 cm. If those extra centimetres affect your available floor space, get confirmation of the dimensions for this version before settling on a position.

Buying verdict

The LWD048W44 is worth considering if you want a computer desk with a side shelf that can be switched to suit your room, plus adjustable feet and a stated 50 kg tabletop limit. Its maple-white finish and steel-and-particleboard construction give it a straightforward home-office look, while the shelf makes it more practical than a bare desk for keeping everyday work items nearby. The main decision point is the conflicting depth information: the reversible layout is useful, but it does not remove the need to confirm the footprint if your space is measured closely.
