ZMTECH Self-Watering Plant Pots, 8/9/10-Inch 3-Pack with Water-Level Window

For plant owners who want a simple way to monitor moisture and make routine watering easier, these ZMTECH self-watering pots pair a visible water-level window with a removable reservoir. The three-pot set includes 8, 9 and 10-inch sizes. Cotton wicks draw water from the reservoir to the soil, helping keep moisture available between top-ups.

Benefits

The water-level window lets you check the reservoir at a glance, so you can see when it needs attention instead of relying only on the soil surface. A removable tray holds water, while absorbent cotton ropes carry it up to the potting mix as needed. This setup can make everyday plant care more convenient, especially when tending several pots or fitting watering into a busy routine. The manufacturer describes the reservoir as holding a 7–10 day water supply.

Drainage holes at the base allow excess water to leave the soil, and the removable watering lip makes it easier to add water and view the level. Together, these features offer a practical alternative to a basic pot that needs frequent direct watering, while still supporting drainage as part of the planting setup. The plastic pots are lightweight and made from recyclable PP, with a matte finish for a clean, understated look.

Key takeaways

This three-pack provides a choice of pot size for different plants or places around the home. The set is presented for plants such as flowers, herbs and succulents, and the product description also names examples including peace lilies, aloe vera, orchids, cacti and ferns. Use the size that suits the plant and its growing setup, the listed openings are 8, 9 and 10 inches.

The reservoir and wick system is intended to reduce the need for frequent hand-watering, while the water window makes the remaining supply visible. Customers often highlight the ease of watering, setup and repotting, along with the pots’ appearance and water visibility. Feedback about sturdiness is mixed, so treat customer impressions as individual experiences rather than a performance guarantee.

Who it’s for

These pots suit indoor or outdoor plant care when a visible reservoir and more measured watering routine are useful. They can be used for a small grouping of plants, with the different opening sizes giving you options for arranging pots around a tabletop or garden area. Since the set uses a wick-fed reservoir, it is particularly relevant for people who prefer water to move gradually from the tray into the soil rather than watering directly from above each time.

For planting, add the appropriate soil and plant, then fill the reservoir through the watering lip. Check the water window as part of your regular care routine and refill when needed. Plant needs vary, so use the window as a guide to the reservoir level and continue to care for each plant according to its needs.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when you want three self-watering pots in graduated sizes, with drainage holes and a visible water supply built into the design. It makes sense if checking a water window and using a removable reservoir fit your routine better than managing each plant with direct watering alone. The 8/9/10-inch range also helps when one pot size will not suit every plant in a small collection. For everyday care of flowers, herbs or succulents indoors or outdoors, the combination of wick-fed watering, visible water level and drainage makes plant upkeep easier to manage.
