ZMTECH 8-Inch Hanging Planters, 2-Pack, Self-Watering with Drainage Holes, Black

For plant owners who want to add greenery without using floor space, these hanging planters offer a practical way to display plants indoors or outdoors. The set includes two black, 8-inch pots with a self-watering reservoir and drainage holes. An adjustable hanging rope helps set the display height. A watering lip makes it easier to add water and check the level.

Why it makes sense

Each pot combines a removable water reservoir with an absorbent cotton rope, so water can move towards the soil as needed. This gives you a convenient alternative to a basic hanging pot, with a built-in way to supply water between refills. The watering lip also makes the reservoir easier to access, while the multiple drainage holes help keep soil ventilated and allow excess water to drain. Together, these details support a more manageable watering routine and help reduce the risk of waterlogged roots.

The round shape and matte black finish suit a modern, understated look. Use the pair to bring plants into a living room, kitchen or bedroom, or to add greenery to a balcony or garden. Suitable plant examples include succulents, orchids, cacti, aloe vera and basil, so the set can accommodate different kinds of indoor and outdoor displays. The adjustable nylon hanging rope lets you vary the height to suit the space and arrange plants without taking up floor area.

Buyer feedback often highlights the appearance and watering system. Opinions are mixed on drainage, attachment and sturdiness, and some buyers raise concerns about the hanging ropes. The design’s most useful draw is its combination of a water reservoir, drainage and a space-saving hanging format.

Getting the most from it

Use the watering lip to add water and keep an eye on the reservoir level. The removable reservoir and absorbent rope are designed to support watering from below, while the drainage holes allow excess water to leave the pot. Adjust the rope height to position each planter in your chosen display area, then arrange plants according to the look you want—whether that means a matching pair or two separate accents around the home or garden.

Is it worth it?

These ZMTECH planters make sense if you want a coordinated pair of hanging pots with a built-in watering system, rather than a simple pot that relies on watering from above alone. Their black matte finish is easy to work into modern spaces, and the adjustable hanging format helps add plants where floor space is limited. Choose them for a compact indoor or outdoor display where drainage, easier watering and a clean hanging look are all useful features.
