Melphoe hanging planters-6.5 Self-Watering Hanging Planters, 2-Pack, Emerald

Each 6.5-inch Melphoe planter has a round profile and an emerald finish, bringing greenery into view without taking up a tabletop. The two-planter set suits indoor and outdoor spaces.

A cotton wick draws water from the lower reservoir to the soil, helping keep plants supplied between refills. The visible water level makes it easier to see when the reservoir needs attention.

Hang the pots with their removable chains, or set them on a flat surface with the chains detached. That flexibility makes it simple to arrange plants on a balcony, by a window or on a shelf.

Best use cases

Use the planters for trailing houseplants, flowers, herbs, succulents or other greenery suited to a 6.5-inch pot. Hung in a kitchen window or living room, cascading plants can add greenery while keeping the growing space above the floor or counter. Outdoors, they can be used on a balcony, patio or covered porch.

The hanging chains detach when you want a tabletop arrangement instead. For a pair of plants, you can hang both pots together for a coordinated look or place them in separate spots to spread greenery around the home. Compared with a basic hanging basket, this design adds a water reservoir and wick to help simplify routine watering.

Strengths

The inner pot’s drainage holes let excess water pass into the lower reservoir, while the cotton wick draws stored water back towards the soil. This combination supports a bottom-watering routine and gives plant owners a visible way to check the water supply. The design is especially practical for hanging plants that are less convenient to reach for frequent watering, the product is described as able to feed plants for two weeks or more, depending on their needs and growing conditions.

Three hooks help distribute the hanging points, and the chains can be removed when you want the pots to sit on a flat surface. Buyers appreciate the self-watering function and find the planters handy to use. Feedback is mixed on the material, colour and perceived size, so the emerald finish and 6.5-inch format are useful details to consider when planning where they will go.

Buying verdict

A solid pick if you want two hanging planters with a built-in reservoir rather than a straightforward basket that relies on more frequent manual watering. The wick, visible water level and detachable chains make the set adaptable for everyday plant care and flexible placement. Choose it for flowers, herbs or trailing greenery that suit the pot size, and use the hanging or tabletop setup that best fits your space.
