YiaMia YNYD-74 5-Pack 12-Inch Rechargeable Motion Sensor Lights

The five-light set brings wireless LED lighting to under-cabinet spaces, closets and other indoor areas. Each light has three brightness settings, so you can choose a softer glow or brighter task lighting. Need light as you enter a dark hallway or cupboard? Motion sensing can switch the lights on automatically, while an always-on mode supports continuous lighting when needed.

Strengths

Each light uses 68 LEDs and offers brightness settings of 60%, 80% and 100%, giving you a simple way to tailor the light to the space and task. The cool white output is rated at 6000 Kelvin. Use a lower setting for a gentle night-time glow, or select a brighter level to illuminate a kitchen counter, pantry shelf or work area.

The motion sensor detects movement within 16 ft and turns the light off after 15 seconds without motion. For spaces where you want uninterrupted illumination, switch to Always-On mode. A 1500mAh rechargeable battery powers each light, the stated run time is up to 5 hours in Always-On mode or 7–30 days in motion-sensor mode, depending on use. USB-C charging takes 3–5 hours for a full charge.

The wireless, magnetic mounting gives you more flexibility than a fixed wired under-cabinet fixture. Attach a light to a suitable iron surface, or use an included iron sheet to create a mounting point where needed. Buyers also highlight the brightness and appreciate the soft light for nighttime use.

Key takeaways

This set is designed for indoor use in places such as kitchens, bedrooms, closets, cabinets, workshops, garages, stairwells and hallways. The motion mode is handy when your hands are full or you only need light briefly, while adjustable brightness makes it easier to suit both practical tasks and softer ambient lighting. With five lights in the set, you can place illumination at several points—for example, beneath kitchen cabinets and inside a nearby pantry or wardrobe.

Installation is magnetic and does not require tools or screws. The lights can attach to iron products, and the included iron sheets provide another mounting option. Their rechargeable, wireless format suits spots where a corded light would be awkward to position.

Best use cases

Choose motion-sensor mode for a cupboard, stairwell or hallway where light is useful on entry and can switch off when the area is empty. In a kitchen, set a brightness level for counter work, then use Always-On mode when you want the light to stay on during a task. For a bedroom wardrobe or shelf, a lower setting can provide a more subdued glow. These different uses make the set useful for adding light across several indoor spaces rather than relying on a single fixed fixture.

Questions before you buy

How do the lights mount? They attach magnetically to suitable iron surfaces. Included iron sheets offer a mounting point where a suitable iron surface is not available, and installation requires no tools or screws.

Can the lights stay on continuously? Yes. Choose Always-On mode for continuous lighting, or use motion-sensor mode for automatic operation. In sensor mode, the lights turn off after 15 seconds without detected movement.

How can I adjust the brightness? Use the push-button control to select one of three levels: 60%, 80% or 100%. The lights provide cool white illumination rated at 6000 Kelvin.

Buying verdict

For anyone adding practical indoor lighting to several cabinets, shelves or walkways, this five-piece set combines adjustable brightness, automatic motion activation and wireless magnetic mounting. USB-C recharging and the choice between sensor and Always-On modes make it adaptable to both quick trips through a dark space and tasks that need steady light.
