Bitrue BM250901A 2-Pack Rechargeable Under-Cabinet Lights with Motion Sensor

Add light to a kitchen counter or closet when you reach for something, without needing to switch on the room’s main light. The Bitrue BM250901A set includes two rechargeable, wireless lights with motion sensing, adjustable brightness and three colour temperatures, so you can tailor the light to a quick late-night visit or a longer task at the counter.

Prefer automatic light as you walk by, or manual control for a steady work area? These lights offer both approaches, with a motion-sensing mode and a constant-on setting.

Compatibility & requirements

Designed for indoor use, these lights suit locations such as kitchen cabinets, closets and staircases. The magnetic backing makes it easy to attach them to a metal surface, while the adhesive plates provide an installation option for non-metal surfaces. Their removable design is handy when it’s time to recharge: detach a light, connect it to a USB-C cable, then put it back in place.

Use the motion setting for areas where you want light to come on as you approach. The sensor activates in low light and turns the light off after 20 seconds without movement. For work that calls for continuous illumination, switch to constant-on instead. This gives you a choice between hands-free lighting and a steady beam, without relying on just one operating style.

Getting the most from it

Choose warm light for a softer feel, natural light for everyday visibility or cool light when you want a brighter-looking workspace. Continuous dimming from 30% to 100% lets you adjust the output for the job, whether you’re checking inside a cupboard or preparing food at the counter. With two lights in the set, you can place them in separate spots or use them to extend lighting along a work area.

A full charge takes about two hours. In motion mode, the lights are rated for up to 1,800 activations per charge, with an estimated 14 to 50 days of use depending on how often they activate. Constant-on use is rated for up to 10 hours at 100% brightness. Buyers have also praised the lights’ operation under kitchen cabinets and their appearance, making the set a practical way to add useful light while keeping the installation discreet.

When it makes sense

If you want an automatic light for a cupboard or walkway, the motion sensor can make everyday access simpler, if you need a light that stays on while you work, the manual constant-on setting serves that purpose. The dimming and three colour choices add flexibility beyond a fixed-output light, while magnetic mounting makes removal for charging straightforward. A solid pick if you’re looking to add adjustable, rechargeable lighting to indoor cabinets, closets or other suitable surfaces without a wired installation.
