Ouyulong WS-01 Battery-Operated Wall Sconces, Set of 2, Gold, RGB and Remote

Some rooms call for steady everyday lighting, others benefit from an accent that can shift with the mood. The Ouyulong WS-01 set of two brings cordless wall lighting together with colour-changing options. Want a softer glow for the evening or a different look for a gathering? Adjust the setting with the remote.

Worth noting

Each sconce pairs a gold-finish metal body with a white fabric shade, adding a decorative touch while keeping the fixture suited to indoor spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and hallways. The rechargeable bulbs offer 12 RGB lighting effects, along with three colour temperatures—3000K, 4500K and 6000K—and four brightness levels from 25% to 100%. That range makes it easier to move from gentle accent light to a brighter setting for everyday activities.

Both lights are battery-powered, so they do not need to be wired to a wall outlet. Each rechargeable bulb has a 5600mAh battery, stated continuous illumination is up to 64 hours at the lowest setting and 18 hours at full brightness. Actual runtime will vary with the selected setting. USB Type-C charging cables are included, and the bulbs can be detached from their portable bases. The set also includes two remote controls, so each sconce has its own controller. A timer offers 30-, 60- and 120-minute options, while the memory function retains the previous colour and brightness when the light is turned back on.

How to use it

Mount each hanging plate to the wall with screws, then hang the sconce on the plate. The installation is screw-mounted rather than adhesive, giving the fixture a defined position on the wall without requiring hardwired power. Use the remote to select a colour effect, colour temperature or brightness level, the push-button controls provide another way to operate the lights. For a relaxed bedroom or hallway setting, choose a warmer temperature and lower brightness, then use an RGB effect when you want the wall to add more colour.

Everyday use

These sconces suit spaces where a wall-mounted accent light can complement the room’s main lighting, or bring a useful glow to an entryway or dining area. Their cordless format is helpful when choosing a wall position independently of a nearby charging outlet. At 19 inches high, the pair gives a wall a noticeable vertical feature as well as adjustable light. Since the fixtures are for indoor use, place them in a protected interior setting.

Customers often praise the appearance, brightness and ease of installation, and some appreciate being able to adjust the light. Feedback is mixed on battery life and reliability, so the selectable brightness and rechargeable design are useful considerations when choosing how you plan to use them.

Practical questions

How are the sconces charged? Each light uses a rechargeable bulb, and two USB Type-C charging cables are included. The bulb can be detached from its portable base for charging.

What is required to mount them? Install the hanging plates with screws and hang the sconces on the plates. Mounting hardware is included, the lights are not adhesive-mounted.

Final verdict

The Ouyulong WS-01 set is a practical fit for anyone looking to add decorative, adjustable wall lighting without hardwiring.
