GOODEA DJGY033 Rechargeable Under-Cabinet Lights, 6-Pack with Motion Sensor

Dimmable LED lights with motion sensing bring convenient, hands-free illumination to cabinets, closets and other indoor spaces. The six-light set is rechargeable and wireless, so you can position the lights where they’re useful without hardwiring. Magnetic mounting makes each light easy to remove for charging or repositioning.

How to use it

Choose a cabinet, wardrobe, bookshelf, hallway or another indoor spot where a little extra light can make everyday tasks easier. The sensor mode switches the lights on when movement is detected in a dark environment, then turns them off automatically after about 25 seconds without movement. When you don’t need automatic lighting, switch the lights off.

For installation, attach the supplied magnetic piece with its adhesive backing where you want the light, or use the built-in magnet on an iron surface. The removable design means you can lift a light from its mount when it needs charging. A charging station and USB charging are listed as charging options, and the station can charge three devices at once. This makes the set a practical alternative to a fixed, wired fixture when you want lighting that can be moved or removed as needed.

Why it’s worth it

A six-light set gives you several compact fixtures to place around the home, from a dark wardrobe to a pantry shelf or stair area. Motion activation helps when your hands are occupied, while dimming lets you tailor the light for the space and task. Because the fixtures are magnetic and removable, you can also take them down for charging instead of working around a permanently installed light.

The charging station helps keep the lights together between uses and can charge three devices at a time. For a practical example, mount a light inside a cupboard so it turns on when you open the door and move nearby, use another in a closet or hallway where you want illumination without reaching for a wall switch. Buyers praise the appearance and say the lights provide useful brightness in dark closets, while feedback is mixed on battery life, sensor performance, lifespan and overall functionality. These comments offer useful context alongside the set’s documented features.

Before you decide

How does the motion sensor work? In sensor mode, the light turns on when it detects movement in a dark environment. It switches off automatically after about 25 seconds without detected movement.

How can I mount the lights? Use the built-in magnet on an iron surface, or attach the magnetic piece with its adhesive backing to the chosen location. The light can then be removed from the magnetic mount.

How do I charge the set? The lights can be charged using the charging station or a USB cable. The station can charge three devices at once.

Is it worth it?

For indoor spaces that need flexible, hands-free lighting, GOODEA’s rechargeable six-pack combines motion activation, dimming and removable magnetic mounting in one set. It suits cabinets, closets, shelves and other spots where you want to add light without hardwiring a fixture.
