Valuetoner PG-240XL/CL-241XL Remanufactured Ink Cartridges, Black and Colour, 2-Pack

Print everyday documents at home with a matched set of black and colour cartridges for compatible Canon PIXMA printers. The Valuetoner PG-240XL/CL-241XL pack combines one cartridge for black text with one tri-colour cartridge for documents that also need colour.

Both cartridges are remanufactured replacements for Canon 240 and 241 ink cartridges. The set is designed for routine printing on plain paper, from written documents to pages that use colour.

An upgraded chip reports the remaining ink level, making it easier to keep an eye on cartridge status as you print. This paired format is a practical choice when both cartridge types are due for replacement, rather than sourcing black and colour separately.

How to use it

Install the black PG-240XL and colour CL-241XL cartridges in a compatible printer from the Canon PIXMA range. Together, they cover common home printing needs: use the black cartridge for text-heavy pages and the colour cartridge for documents where coloured elements help distinguish information or make a page easier to scan.

The cartridges are intended for compatible PIXMA MG, MX and TS models, including the MG3620 and TS5120. Match your printer’s model to the compatibility list below before selecting the set. If an ink-low alert appears during installation, the manufacturer’s guidance is to hold the printer’s Stop/Reset button for more than five seconds to dismiss the warning and resume printing.

Strengths

Having both cartridge colours in one set makes replacement straightforward when your printer needs black and colour ink. It also keeps the cartridge choices together, so there is less need to identify and order each type separately. The black cartridge is suited to everyday text printing, while the tri-colour cartridge supports pages that use colour. That combination works well for household paperwork, school documents and other routine print jobs on plain paper.

The built-in chip displays the remaining ink level, giving you a useful status check while the cartridges are in use. The remanufactured format offers a replacement approach for owners of compatible PIXMA printers who want to continue using their existing printer and its 240/241 cartridge format.

Should you buy it?

It makes sense if you own one of the listed Canon PIXMA models and want black and colour replacement cartridges in a single pack. The PG-240XL/CL-241XL pairing suits regular document printing, with a dedicated black cartridge for text and a tri-colour cartridge for pages that need colour. Check your printer’s model against the compatibility list to choose the right replacement set.
