GoToners 148A W1480A Black Toner Cartridges, 2-Pack with Chip

For users who need black toner for a compatible HP LaserJet Pro printer, the GoToners 148A W1480A replacement comes as a two-cartridge pack with chips installed. It is designed for select HP LaserJet Pro 4001 and MFP 4101 models, with a stated yield of 2,900 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage on Letter/A4 paper.

That makes it a practical replacement format for routine monochrome printing, from office documents to forms and everyday correspondence. The built-in chip is intended to help the printer recognize the cartridge during installation.

Worth noting

Each cartridge produces black prints, and the pack contains two cartridges. GoToners lists a 2,900-page yield for each one, measured at 5% page coverage on Letter/A4. Actual page counts can vary with how much of each page is printed, so the stated yield is best treated as a reference for planning replacement supplies.

As a compatible alternative to an original-brand cartridge, this pack offers a straightforward way to replenish toner while keeping the focus on the printer models it is made for. Need a replacement ready for regular document printing? The installed chip and two-cartridge format make this a useful option to consider.

The cartridges are compatible with HP LaserJet Pro 4001dn, 4001dw and 4001n printers, as well as HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4101dw, 4101fdw and 4101fdn models. They are not compatible with HP+ or E-series printers, or the listed 4001dwe, 4001dne, 4001ne, 4101fdwe, 4101dwe and 4101fdne variants. Matching the printer’s full model designation to this compatibility list helps ensure you select the right replacement.

Practical tips

Use the model name printed on your printer to check that it matches one of the supported versions before choosing the cartridge. The toner is supplied with its chip installed, so there is no separate chip to transfer as part of the cartridge replacement. Keeping the second cartridge available also gives you another replacement for the same compatible printer when the first one is used up.

GoToners describes the cartridge materials as sustainable and provides a one-year manufacturer warranty, with replacement or refund support stated for that period. These details may matter when choosing between a single replacement and a multi-cartridge pack for ongoing black-and-white printing.

Best use cases

This two-pack suits home offices and workplaces that regularly print monochrome paperwork on a supported LaserJet Pro model. It can be used for documents, forms and other text-led pages where black toner is the required colour. The page-yield figure is especially helpful when estimating supply needs for recurring print jobs, while the installed chip is intended to simplify recognition by the printer.

For occasional printing, a single compatible cartridge may be a simpler purchase, for regular use, having two replacements in one pack can make supply planning more convenient. In either case, printer compatibility is the key selection detail, particularly when a model name includes a suffix such as “e” or “E”.
