The high-yield 63XL format is suited to regular printing, with separate cartridges for black text and colour output. The stated page yields use 5% A4 coverage as their reference, giving a practical point of comparison when planning replacement ink. If your printer is among the compatible models above, this set brings both cartridge colours together, buying only one colour at a time is the alternative when just one cartridge needs replacing.

How to use it

Install the black and tri-colour cartridges in a compatible printer following the supplied user guide. The cartridges have smart chips to support printer recognition and ink-level tracking, helping you check ink status during normal use. They are intended for common paper printing, including documents and colour pages at home, at work or for school.

Buyers describe installation as straightforward, including fitting the colour cartridge. Experiences with printer compatibility and colour output are mixed, and some report recognition errors. The listed printer models provide a useful starting point when selecting replacement ink, match your printer to the compatibility list before installing the cartridges.

Box contents

The set contains one 63XL black ink cartridge, one 63XL tri-colour ink cartridge and one user guide. With both colours in the same pack, it’s a practical format for households or workspaces that print a mix of text and colour and want the two replacement cartridges on hand together.

When it makes sense

It suits you if you use one of the listed HP DeskJet, ENVY or OfficeJet printers and want a black-and-colour replacement set for regular paper printing. The two-cartridge pack is especially useful for mixed print jobs, such as black text alongside colour pages, while the separate stated yields help set expectations for each cartridge. For a compatible printer, this E-Z Ink set offers a direct way to replenish both black and tri-colour ink in one purchase.
