At 74 × 28 in, the Sportneer Y21-80601-01-06 gives you an adult-sized sleeping surface supported by a reinforced steel frame. Its double-layer 1200D Oxford cloth and soft cushion add a comfortable place to rest, while the angled head design is shaped to support the neck and back. The cot supports up to 450 lbs and folds for use at camp or as an indoor guest bed.

When you’re setting up for the night, the no-tool folding design keeps preparation simple. Pull the sides apart until the frame locks into place, then fold it down again when it’s time to pack up.

Key takeaways

This cot combines a raised sleeping surface with a cushion, a sturdy steel structure and room to rest on your back or side. The X-shaped frame is designed for stability, and the fabric is described as thick and wear-resistant. Two side pockets keep everyday items such as a phone, water bottle, book or keys close at hand, so they’re easy to reach without leaving the cot.

Buyers often highlight comfort, stability and straightforward setup. Feedback on size and durability is mixed, so it’s useful to consider the 74 × 28 in sleeping area when planning your setup. Need a bed that can move between a campsite and a spare room? Its foldable format makes that flexibility practical.

How to look after it

Hand wash the cot, machine washing is not recommended. For regular care, keep to that cleaning method so the fabric and assembled cot can be maintained as directed. When you’re finished using it, fold the frame for storage or transport, then unfold it and pull the sides apart until it locks securely before settling in.

Tips for day-to-day use

For tent camping, set the cot up inside your sleeping area to create an elevated alternative to a ground-level sleeping mat. The cushion and angled head design add comfort to the sleeping surface, while the side pockets give small essentials a place beside you. At home, it can serve as a temporary bed for overnight guests, for road trips or RV stays, the folding frame offers another way to prepare a sleeping spot without assembling a permanent bed.

The frame opens and folds without tools, making it straightforward to switch between use and storage. When setting it up, pull both sides apart until the frame locks into place. Keep the items you reach for most in the side pockets, and use the stated 74 × 28 in dimensions to plan where the cot will sit in a tent or room.

When it makes sense

Choose this Sportneer cot when you want one portable sleeping surface for outdoor trips and occasional indoor use. Its cushion, angled head design and steel frame suit campers looking for more than a ground-level mat, while the folding format is handy for a guest bed that can be put away between visits. The 450 lb capacity and side pockets add practical details for setting up a comfortable place to rest, whether you’re camping, travelling or hosting someone overnight.
