Yaheetech YT-00142947 Queen Upholstered Platform Bed Frame, Pink Velvet

Choosing a bed frame is about more than fitting a mattress: it can also shape the feel of a bedroom and provide a comfortable spot to sit back. The Yaheetech YT-00142947 combines a pink velvet finish with a tufted, wing-side headboard, bringing a soft upholstered look to a queen-size platform design.

Its wooden slat support means the mattress sits directly on the frame, so a separate box spring isn’t required. The winged headboard and foam padding add a defined, cushioned backrest for reading or relaxing, while the low-profile design keeps the space feeling open.

Why it’s worth it

The upholstered headboard makes this frame useful beyond simply supporting a mattress. Its foam padding gives you a softer surface to lean against, and the velvet upholstery adds texture and colour to a bedroom or guest room. The wing sides frame the bed visually, making the headboard a natural focal point without relying on extra decorative pieces.

Under the mattress, 12 wooden slats provide the platform support. Reinforced panels at the side-panel joints are designed to help keep the frame steady, while the slat layout also allows airflow around the mattress. With a maximum weight recommendation of 362.87 kg, the frame is specified for everyday use. The low-profile form leaves 6 inches of space underneath, keeping some floor visible below the bed.

What matters most

This is a queen-size upholstered platform bed in pink, with an engineered-wood frame and a tufted velvet headboard with wing sides. Its overall dimensions are 2.13L x 1.63W x 1.04H metres. The slats are spaced 4.5–4.7 inches apart, and the frame is designed for foam, latex or spring mattresses. Because the mattress rests on the slats, there’s no need for a box spring.

Assembly is set up for two adults, with numbered parts and step-by-step instructions. The slats are strapped together to help keep the pieces organized during setup, and the assembly information estimates less than an hour. Buyers often praise the pink colour and straightforward assembly. Feedback is mixed on durability and stability, and some say the headboard looks smaller than expected, so its proportions are worth considering alongside your room layout and preferred headboard height.

Care tips

The care instruction for the upholstery is dry clean only. After setup, allow the bed to ventilate for 24–48 hours before use. With its upholstered headboard and platform support, it suits a main bedroom or guest room where a coordinated look and a cushioned place to lean back are both useful.
