SONGMICS ULLR530YW01 Foldable Clothes Drying Rack with 16 Rotating Beech Wood Arms

Some laundry needs a dedicated place to air-dry, while everyday washing calls for a rack that can be put away when the job is done. The SONGMICS ULLR530YW01 suits both needs with 16 pull-out arms and a folding floor-standing design. Use it indoors, or outdoors in sunny, windless weather.

How to use it

Set the tripod rack up with the foot pedal, then pull out the arms you need for the items you’re drying. The arms can be adjusted to suit the room layout, and the rotating design lets you reach hanging laundry more conveniently. Turn the practical knob counterclockwise to activate rotation, turn it clockwise to lock the rack in place. For a balanced setup, spread laundry evenly across the arms rather than loading one side.

When laundry is dry, use the pedal to fold the rack away. Its folding design makes it easier to tuck into a corner or closet between loads, and the product details describe it as compact enough to fit in a car trunk when folded. This makes it handy for a laundry room or balcony where floor space is also used for other tasks.

Benefits

The 16 beech wood arms give you options for hanging clothes or laying out items such as towels and bedding. Pull out the arms you need for the current load, and adjust their angle to make better use of the space around the rack. For example, you can set it up in the laundry room after washing, arrange garments around the arms, then rotate the rack as needed to access them.

Unlike a fixed drying line, this freestanding rack can be set up where it suits the day’s laundry routine and folded away afterward. The tripod base and rotating design are useful when you want access around the rack without having to keep moving individual items. Buyers highlight the roomy drying area and space-saving foldaway design. Feedback is mixed on sturdiness, ease of setup and portability, so follow the setup instructions and distribute the laundry evenly for a balanced arrangement.

Key features

The rack has 16 pull-out beech wood arms, a rotatable top, a tripod floor-standing base and foldable legs operated with a foot pedal. Its natural colour and wood arms bring a simple, practical look to the laundry area. The manufacturer lists beech wood, PVC plastic, ABS plastic and aluminium alloy among the materials. It is intended for clothing and can be used indoors or outdoors in sunny, windless conditions.

It’s a good fit if you want a dedicated air-drying area that can be configured around a load and folded away after use. For a permanent drying setup, a fixed line may suit a different routine, this rack is the more flexible choice when you want a freestanding option that can move between suitable spaces.

What to clarify

How do you rotate or lock the rack? Turn the knob counterclockwise to activate rotation and clockwise to lock it. The rotating top makes it easier to reach items around the rack.

How does the rack fold? Use the foot pedal to open or fold the stand. Pull out the arms you need for drying, then fold the rack away after use.

Can it be used outdoors? Yes. It is suitable for outdoor use in sunny, windless weather, as well as for indoor spaces such as a laundry room or balcony.
