BABL LIFE XL Wool Dryer Balls, Pack of 6, 3-Inch New Zealand Wool
Product description
The 3-inch XL size and 100% New Zealand wool make these reusable dryer balls a natural alternative to dryer sheets and liquid fabric softener. In a large load, the balls help separate towels, bedding and other bulky fabrics as they tumble, supporting airflow through heavier laundry. The pack includes six balls, giving you a set suited to bigger drying loads.
Choose XL when bulky household laundry is a regular part of your routine, the 2.6-inch standard version is intended for everyday loads. That distinction makes it easier to select a size around the laundry you dry most often.
Size & fit
Each ball is 3 inches and designed for larger loads, including towels, bedding, blankets and other heavier fabrics. For a large load, the maker recommends using four to six balls. Add them to the dryer with freshly washed laundry, so they can move between fabrics and help keep thicker items from settling together. The six-piece pack provides enough balls for that suggested large-load use.
If you mainly dry everyday, smaller loads, the listed 2.6-inch standard version offers a more compact alternative. For households that often dry bulky items, this XL set is the more directly tailored choice: its size and recommended quantity are intended for those fuller loads rather than being a general-purpose size claim.
What you’ll notice day to day
The balls work through gentle separating and fluffing action in the dryer, while the wool naturally softens fabrics. That gives you a reusable option in place of disposable dryer sheets or liquid softener, without adding a fragrance. Use them for bedding or towels when the load’s heavier fabrics benefit from more separation as they tumble. The product information also says they can help reduce wrinkles and static cling.
Buyer feedback often highlights reduced drying time, softer laundry and fewer wrinkles, and some shoppers appreciate having no added scent. Experiences with static control and cleaning performance are mixed, so those results may vary. For a heavy load or on a dry, cold day, the maker suggests lightly applying tap water to the balls before drying to add static protection. This is a practical wool-ball approach for people who want a reusable laundry aid, dryer sheets remain a familiar choice for those who prefer a single-use product.
