Who it’s for

This airer suits households looking for a reusable indoor drying setup with room to arrange laundry across multiple arms. The rotatable design makes it easier to access items around the rack, while the pull-out arms let you adapt the arrangement to the space and the load. Lay out clothes or towels flat, or hang them up to dry, the tripod base is also described as suitable for bulky laundry such as bedding.

It’s a practical fit for a laundry room or balcony where a freestanding rack can be positioned as needed. Compared with choosing a fixed drying arrangement, the adjustable arms offer more flexibility in how you use the rack from one load to another. For a typical laundry day, you can pull out the arms needed for the items at hand, turn the rack while loading it, then fold the stand away when the laundry is dry.

Usage tips

Unfold the stand using its foot pedal, then pull out and angle the arms to suit the available space. Arrange garments and towels with access to each side, and rotate the rack as needed while loading or unloading. In sunny, windless weather, it can also be placed outside. After use, fold the legs and store the rack in a corner or closet, its folded form can also fit into a car trunk for transport when moving.

The aluminium alloy arms provide a sturdy support structure, and the tripod base is designed to stay steady with bulky laundry. The combination of a rotating layout and fold-away frame makes it useful when you want drying space during the day without leaving a rack permanently set up.

Should you buy it?

Choose the SONGMICS ULLR531EW01 if you want a freestanding airer that combines 16 pull-out arms with a rotatable layout and folds away between loads. Its adaptable setup works for everyday clothes and towels as well as bulkier laundry, while the foldable legs make storage straightforward. It’s a useful choice for laundry rooms and balconies where adjustable drying space matters as much as being able to put the rack away afterwards.
