Everyday use

This replacement set is suited to colour laser printing when you want black and colour toner on hand together. The black cartridge supports everyday documents, while cyan, magenta and yellow provide the toner colours used for colour prints. With all four cartridges in one pack, it’s a practical choice for preparing a compatible printer for routine mixed printing instead of sourcing each colour separately.

The stated yields give a useful planning reference: up to 3,000 pages from the black cartridge and up to 2,300 pages from each colour cartridge, measured at 5% page coverage. Actual page counts depend on how much toner each page uses. The smart chip lets you monitor current toner levels, helping you see when a replacement is approaching and plan ahead for work or household printing.

For example, a small office printing a mix of black-and-white paperwork and colour charts can keep the four toner colours available in the same supply cycle. It’s a good fit if your printer is one of the listed Brother models and you want compatible high-yield replacements in a complete colour set.

Included in the pack

The pack contains one TN229XL black toner cartridge and one cartridge each in cyan, magenta and yellow. Together, they provide the four toner colours for the compatible printer models listed above. Before installing, match your printer’s model number against that compatibility list so you can choose the correct replacement set.

Questions before you buy

Which Brother printers are compatible? The listed models are HL-L3220CDW, HL-L3280CDW, HL-L3295CDW, HL-L3300CDW, HL-L8245CDW, MFC-L3720CDW, MFC-L3765CDW, MFC-L3780CDW and MFC-L8395CDW. Check your printer’s model name against this list before ordering.

How many pages can the cartridges print? The stated yield is up to 3,000 pages for the black cartridge and up to 2,300 pages for each colour cartridge, based on 5% page coverage. Pages with heavier toner coverage use more toner, so the actual yield varies with print content.

Can I monitor toner levels? Yes. The cartridges have a smart chip that supports monitoring the current toner level, making it easier to keep track of supplies and arrange a replacement when needed.
