Sereniton 30W UV Mosquito Killer, 4000V Fly Zapper with All-Metal Body

For households and small businesses that need an indoor way to manage flying insects, the Sereniton UV mosquito killer combines UV attraction with an electric grid in one freestanding or hanging unit.

Its 30W UV lamps operate at 365–395 nm and are designed for spaces up to 200 m². The 4000V grid zaps insects that make contact.

Place it on a counter or shelf, or use the included metal chain to hang it. A removable collection tray makes routine clean-up straightforward.

What matters most

The UV lamps attract flying insects towards the zapper, while the 4000V grid deals with those that reach it. The manufacturer states that the grid eliminates over 95% of contacted flying insects in a single strike. It is intended for mosquitoes, flies, moths and other flying insects, providing a fixed indoor control option rather than an approach focused on treating individual insects as they appear.

The 30W lamps are specified for spaces up to 200 m², making the unit suitable for larger home interiors as well as light commercial settings. Its all-metal body and blue finish give it a defined place in a room, while the choice of countertop placement or hanging lets you fit the unit to the space. A tightly woven safety guard surrounds the electrified grid, helping keep fingers and curious pets away from its components during everyday household use.

Best use cases

Use the zapper in indoor areas where flying insects are a concern, such as living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, home offices, conservatories and greenhouses. It is also described for small cafés and B&Bs. For example, a household can hang it in a suitable indoor area using the included chain, keeping the unit off a work surface while it attracts insects with its UV lamps. For a smaller or more flexible space, it can instead sit on a countertop, shelf, dining table or sideboard.

The choice between a fixed zapper and a more hands-on method depends on how you want to manage insects. This unit is designed to attract and zap flying insects in a chosen indoor area, rather than requiring you to deal with each one individually. Its coverage specification and two placement options help guide where it may fit into a home or light commercial setting.

Usage tips

Choose a stable, suitable surface for freestanding use, or hang the unit from a wall, ceiling or hook with the included metal chain. Position it in the indoor area where insect control is needed, using the space and placement that best suit the room. Keep the safety guard in place during use so it continues to surround the high-voltage grid.

For tray cleaning, unplug the unit first. Slide out the removable collection tray, empty it or rinse it under the tap, then return it to the unit. If a lamp has shifted during shipping, rotate it firmly into place before plugging in the zapper. These simple steps support convenient setup and maintenance without making tray clean-up a separate task.

Is it worth it?

The Sereniton is a practical fit for people seeking UV-attracted indoor insect control with flexible placement. Its 30W lamps, 4000V grid and stated coverage of up to 200 m² suit use in spacious homes and light commercial areas, while the removable tray helps make regular cleaning manageable. Choose it for a designated indoor area where a freestanding or hanging fly zapper can provide a convenient way to attract and zap flying insects.
