iO CLEAN Washing Machine Cleaner & Descaler Tablets, 24 Count, Unscented

Pre-measured tablets make regular washer care straightforward, with one tablet used for a hot cleaning cycle. The unscented formula helps address residue and mineral scale inside the drum while supporting odour control. Prefer a measured tablet to a pour-and-dose cleaner? This format keeps the routine simple for front-load and top-load washers, including HE models.

Quick overview

These washer cleaner and descaler tablets are designed for deep internal cleaning. As a tablet dissolves during the cycle, it helps manage buildup and residue in the drum, including mineral deposits associated with hard water. Regular cleaning can also help address odour-causing residue, without adding fragrance to the washer. The 24-count pack provides a ready supply for ongoing machine care.

The tablets are suitable for HE, front-load and top-load washing machines, and can be used with stainless steel or plastic drums. Their pre-measured format avoids the pouring and dose variation that can come with liquid cleaners. The product is also described as biodegradable and non-toxic, useful details for shoppers considering the formula as part of their regular home-care routine.

Cleaning & care

For routine maintenance, place one tablet directly in the washer drum and run a hot cleaning cycle. The tablet dissolves during the cycle, helping clean the washer’s interior and manage residue and hard-water scale. The suggested routine is monthly, making it easy to add washer care to a regular household schedule. Follow your washer’s instructions for running a cleaning cycle.

Usage tips

Use the tablet in the drum rather than measuring a liquid dose, then let the hot cycle complete. This approach suits a scheduled monthly clean and gives you a simple way to keep up with internal washer maintenance between laundry loads. For a home with a front-load HE washer or a top-load machine, the same tablet format is designed to work across those washer types and with stainless steel or plastic drums.

The unscented format is a practical choice when you want washer maintenance without added fragrance. If you are choosing between a pre-measured tablet and a cleaner that needs to be poured and dosed, this pack offers a consistent, ready-to-use format for recurring cleaning.
