DALIPER DA-27 Heavy-Duty Wet Mop with Adjustable Handle and Cotton Head

Some floor jobs call for a mop that can cover a wet area, while others need a tool that is easier to manage for quick spot cleaning. The DALIPER DA-27 pairs a long, adjustable handle with a looped-end cotton head for practical cleaning across a range of floors. Its removable, machine-washable head also makes cleanup simpler after the job is done.

At a glance

The DA-27 is a heavy-duty wet mop with a handle that adjusts from 43.5" to 57.5". Adjusting the length lets you set a comfortable working position for different users and cleaning tasks, while the foam-wrapped grip is designed to help prevent slipping. The looped-end cotton strings provide a broad mop head for wet or dry floor cleaning, and a fixed yarn tail strap helps keep the loops from tangling as you work.

A screw-operated jaw clamp holds the mop head in place and can be loosened to remove it for washing or replacement. The handle also has a hanging loop for storage between uses. The mop is suited to hardwood, tile, marble and wooden floors, as well as wet or dry areas such as kitchens, garages, offices, workshops and warehouses. At 1.14 kg, it has a substantial feel, customer feedback includes differing views on its weight and on how securely the clamp stays connected. Some appreciate the removable attachment, while others report mixed experiences with it during use.

Who it’s for

This mop is a practical fit for home or commercial cleaning where a long-handled string mop can cover more floor area than a compact tool intended mainly for small spot clean-ups. The adjustable length is useful when more than one person handles cleaning, and the cotton head suits routine wet-floor work as well as dry-area cleaning. Choose it for spaces such as a kitchen, workshop or garage where a removable head that can be washed is useful after mopping.

Customer comments often praise the mop’s cleaning performance and say the head is easy to take off and wash. Some also describe the mop as sturdy. These are individual impressions rather than a measure of results, but they highlight the practical appeal of a washable head and a substantial mop design. Feedback on the clamp is mixed, so the screw mechanism is worth using to secure the head firmly before starting a cleaning session.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the handle length before cleaning so you can work comfortably across the area. Turn the clamp screw to secure the head, then use the mop across the floor without allowing the cotton loops to bunch, the fixed strap is designed to help keep them arranged. For a wet-floor task, work with the cotton strings as a mop head, for dry cleaning, the product is also suitable for dry areas. When finished, remove the head for machine washing and hang the mop by its storage loop.

A compact hand-held approach can suit isolated spills, while the DA-27’s adjustable long handle and string head are better matched to regular cleaning across larger floor areas. Keeping the removable head clean between jobs helps make the mop ready for the next session.
