Lepro 330044-BK-US 2000LM Camping Lantern, Dual Power, Dimmable, IPX4

At 8.4 x 8.4 x 19 cm, this black plastic lantern is compact enough to bring along for a camping trip or keep ready at home. Its rechargeable battery and option to use AA batteries offer two ways to power the light. Choose a lantern for gentle tent lighting, or one with stronger output for a campsite or power outage: this Lepro model is designed to cover both needs.

Everyday use

The lantern offers a maximum output of 2,000 lumens and adjustable brightness, so you can tailor the light to the task, from reading in a tent to preparing food at a picnic table. Its 360-degree light helps illuminate the surrounding area rather than focusing everything into a narrow beam. Daylight, warm white, combined and red lighting options—including flashing red—give you different ways to use it around camp or during an outage.

Set it on a table or carry it by the metal handle, the handle also lets you hang it as a tent light. The flat, weighted base is designed to sit steadily on a surface. With IPX4 protection against splashes, it’s suited to outdoor use where light rain or splashing may be part of the day.

Benefits

The dual power source is a practical advantage when you want a rechargeable lantern for regular trips but also value a backup option. Use the built-in rechargeable battery, or switch to 6 AA batteries, which are sold separately. The lantern recharges through USB-C, and the included USB cable makes that charging option part of the package. It can also operate while charging, which is useful when you want light available as the battery replenishes.

The dimmable output helps adapt the lantern to different settings, while the matte finish and compact form suit both a campsite and a cabin or cottage table. Buyers commonly praise its brightness and adjustable light, and describe it as useful for camping and power outages. Some also appreciate that its compact size is easy to accommodate among camping gear.

What matters most

Choose this lantern when flexibility matters as much as brightness: it combines rechargeable power, an AA battery option, several lighting choices and a handle for carrying or hanging. If your priority is simply a basic light for occasional use, a simpler single-purpose lamp may suit that need, the Lepro is more versatile for people who want one portable light for both outdoor outings and household backup.

Its size and 410 g weight make it manageable to pack, while the 2,000-lumen maximum gives you a brighter setting when a broader area needs light. For a tent, use the handle to hang it and adjust brightness to suit reading or shared space. At home, keep it accessible for a power outage and choose the light setting that fits the room and task.

Buying verdict

For campers, cottage visitors and households preparing for occasional outages, the Lepro 330044-BK-US brings useful flexibility in a compact lantern. Its combination of dimmable, wide-area illumination, USB-C recharging and the option to use 6 AA batteries makes it a practical choice when you want adaptable light away from an outlet or during a disruption.
