KBJALQ Pool Filter Balls, 3.1 lb Blue Reusable Pool Filter Media
Product description
Pool owners looking for an alternative to loose filter sand can use KBJALQ Pool Filter Balls in compatible swimming pool sand filter systems. The blue filter media is supplied in a 3.1 lb quantity and is described as equivalent to 100 lbs of filter sand.
Made from polyester, polypropylene and acrylic fibre, the spherical media is designed for filtration and can be reused. That gives pool owners a practical option when choosing what to put in a sand filter.
The balls are also listed for aquariums, fish tanks and filter pumps. A wash bag is included, and the media is machine washable for convenient cleaning between uses.
Why it makes sense
Choosing filter media is not only about the material in the filter, it also affects how much media you need to handle and how you care for it. KBJALQ’s 3.1 lb pack is presented as an alternative to 100 lbs of filter sand, so it offers a different format for pool owners setting up or refreshing a compatible sand filter. The spherical fibre construction brings together polyester, polypropylene and acrylic fibre in reusable filter balls.
For a pool owner replacing sand, the choice is between a familiar loose medium and a ready-to-use ball format. These balls are specifically described for sand filter systems, while their stated applications also include aquariums, fish tanks and filter pumps. Choose them when reusable fibre media suits the equipment and maintenance routine you have in mind.
The essentials
- Product: Blue pool filter balls
- Weight: 3.1 lbs
- Stated sand equivalent: 100 lbs of filter sand
- Material: Polyester, polypropylene and acrylic fibre
- Care: Reusable and machine washable
- Included: Wash bag
- Applications: Swimming pools, aquariums, fish tanks and filter pumps
A practical pool-care scenario is replacing sand in a compatible sand filter with the ball-format media, then using the wash bag when it is time to clean the balls. The stated weight equivalence helps when comparing this pack with a sand-based setup, while reusability makes care part of the ongoing routine rather than a one-time choice of media. Follow the requirements of your filter system when selecting and using filter media.
Cleaning & care
The filter balls are machine washable, and the included wash bag provides a dedicated way to hold them during cleaning. Once washed, they can be reused as filter media. This makes the care process straightforward to plan alongside regular pool or aquarium maintenance. Keep the balls together in the wash bag for cleaning, then return the reusable media to the applicable filtration setup.
Final verdict
KBJALQ Pool Filter Balls suit buyers who want reusable fibre media for a swimming pool sand filter and value the stated 3.1 lb-to-100 lb sand equivalence. Their blue spherical format, washable design and listed use across pools, aquariums, fish tanks and filter pumps make them a useful choice for filtration routines where this type of media is appropriate.
