Pool Skimmer Net 45 cm

A wider skimmer net is useful when you want to clear floating debris in fewer passes, a smaller net may be easier to manoeuvre in tight spots. This one has a 45 cm frame and a deep, double-layer mesh bag.

It comes with a detachable aluminium pole described as having eight sections, so you can adjust its reach rather than work with one fixed-length handle.

There is a detail worth noting before you buy: the product title says 10 ft, while the description gives both 300 cm and 360 cm for the pole. Those figures do not agree, so its exact assembled reach is unclear.

Key specifications

The net has a 45 cm aluminium frame and a deep, fine-mesh nylon bag with a double layer. The listing describes the pole as lightweight aluminium, with eight detachable sections and a connection designed to stay secure. No assembled dimensions or individual section lengths are specified.

The broad opening is intended to collect leaves, insects and other floating debris, while the fine mesh is described as suitable for smaller particles. A deeper bag can hold more debris between emptying trips, though it may also take a little more effort to lift when full. That is a practical trade-off to keep in mind if you mainly deal with occasional leaves rather than a busy, debris-prone pool.

Who it’s for

It may suit you if you maintain an above-ground or in-ground pool and want a net for routine surface skimming, with the option to reach farther areas using a sectional pole. The listing also names spas, ponds and fountains as intended uses. For example, you could skim leaves from the far side of a pool, then lift the bag out to remove them before they sink.

It won't suit you if you need a clearly specified pole length before choosing, or if your main task is cleaning the pool floor rather than collecting floating material. The product is described as a surface skimmer, not as a brush or vacuum. Its wider frame may also be less convenient than a compact net when working around narrow corners or crowded fittings.

What's included

The product is described as a skimmer net with an aluminium pole made up of eight detachable sections. The deep mesh bag and frame are part of the net assembly. The listing does not provide further information about additional accessories, replacement parts or storage options.

Buying questions

What kind of debris is it meant to collect? Leaves, insects and floating debris are named in the description. The fine mesh is also presented as able to catch smaller particles, although no particle size is specified.

Can it be used outside a swimming pool? The listed uses include above-ground and in-ground pools, spas, ponds and fountains. The product is not described for cleaning surfaces below the waterline.

How long is the pole when assembled? The title states 10 ft, but the description gives 300 cm and 360 cm. Since these figures conflict, the assembled reach cannot be determined confidently from the supplied details.

Final verdict

Choose this skimmer if a 45 cm opening, deep double-layer mesh and adjustable sectional pole match your regular surface-cleaning routine. Its stated range of settings is useful if you care for more than a standard pool, and the fine mesh gives it a broader debris-collection role than a basic coarse leaf net. The unresolved pole-length figures are the main drawback: if reach is central to your purchase, this listing does not give a consistent answer. For floor cleaning or a tool with precisely documented dimensions, a different type of pool cleaner would be a better fit.
