IMALEN LX-10-D Spa Filter Cartridge, 2-Pack, 42 sq. ft. Filtration

Trilobal filtration fabric gives the IMALEN LX-10-D spa filter cartridge a broad surface for capturing particles and everyday debris. This two-pack is a compatible replacement for several commonly listed spa and pool filter models, making it easier to choose a cartridge by fit as well as by its filtration area.

Each cartridge has a 42 sq. ft. filtration area and is designed to trap hair, leaves, dust, sediment and sand. The fabric is washable for repeated use, with cleaning recommended every two weeks depending on usage.

Usage tips

Before replacing a cartridge, match your existing filter’s model to the compatible-model list. These cartridges are listed for Unicel C-4975, Pleatco PRB75, Rainbow RTL-75, Filbur FC-2395, Custom Molded Products 25390, R173435 and 17-2632, as well as Darlly 40751. Other listed matches include Aladdin 17501, Baleen AK-3051, Excel Filters XLS-409, Magnum RA75, Pure N Clean PC-2395, SD-00203 and 00662. This is a compatible replacement cartridge, matching the model identifier is a practical way to narrow your selection beyond choosing by general filter type.

For routine care, clean the filter about every two weeks, adjusting the interval to how often the spa or pool is used. Regular cleaning helps remove the debris caught in the fabric and supports continued filtration through repeated use. Follow the cleaning method appropriate for your filter setup.

Where it shines

The 42 sq. ft. filtration area is useful for capturing a mix of fine and visible debris as water circulates through a hot tub or pool. Trilobal filtration fabric provides the cartridge’s filtering surface, while the “Dirt-Lock” design is intended to capture hair, leaves, dust, sediment and sand. That makes it suited to regular water care where debris can build up between cleanings.

In a spa used throughout the week, for example, a cartridge can collect particles carried into the water and debris that settles into circulation. Cleaning it on the recommended schedule helps keep that captured material from accumulating on the filter. The washable design also supports repeated use, and having two cartridges gives you a pair of compatible replacements to manage as part of routine maintenance.

Key takeaways

Each cartridge measures 20-1/8" long with a 4-15/16" outside diameter. The top and bottom openings are both 2-1/8". These measurements provide a useful fit check alongside the compatible model numbers, particularly when replacing an existing cartridge. The listed filtration area is 42 sq. ft., and the filter material is trilobal filtration fabric.

The purchase is for a two-pack of compatible replacement cartridges. Rather than selecting a filter solely by its overall shape, use the model list and opening dimensions to identify the fit for your spa or pool system. Once installed, periodic cleaning—recommended every two weeks depending on use—helps maintain the cartridge for repeated use.

When it makes sense

This IMALEN two-pack suits spa and pool owners looking for a washable replacement with a stated 42 sq. ft. filtration area and a range of listed compatible models. It suits you if your current cartridge matches one of those identifiers and you want a replacement designed to catch common debris during normal water circulation. The combination of specified fit dimensions, trilobal fabric and a two-cartridge format makes it a practical choice for planned filter changes and ongoing maintenance.
