Cryspool CP-06008(2) ca Coarse-Thread Spa Filter, 45 sq. ft., 2-Pack

For spa owners replacing a coarse-thread filter cartridge, the Cryspool CP-06008(2) ca is designed to match several named spa filter models, including 6CH-940, PWW50P3 and Filbur FC-0359. Its 1-1/2-inch SAE threaded bottom and circular-handle top provide practical fit details to compare with the cartridge being replaced.

This two-pack has a 45 sq. ft. filtration area and pleated trilobal-fibre material, made for routine spa filtration and cleaning.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the cartridge in a compatible spa filter housing, matching its coarse-thread connection and overall dimensions: 8-1/4 inches long and 6 inches in outside diameter. The bottom has a 1-1/2-inch SAE thread, while the top uses a circular handle. These details help distinguish this cartridge from filters that share a similar general shape but use a different connection or fit.

For regular upkeep, rinse the pleats when the pressure gauge reaches its predetermined value. The pleated structure lets water pass through the filter material while collecting impurities, and the maker describes the trilobal fibres as designed for thorough washing. A consistent cleaning routine helps keep the cartridge ready for repeated use.

Strengths

The 45 sq. ft. filtration area gives this compact cartridge a defined filter surface for spa maintenance. Trilobal-fibre material and evenly arranged pleats are intended to hold dirt and allow water to penetrate the pleats during cleaning. This makes the cartridge a practical choice for owners who prefer a reusable filter they can wash as part of ongoing spa care.

Reinforced end caps and a supporting band help hold the filter element in position. The pack contains two cartridges, providing a matching pair for replacement planning. When choosing between a generic cartridge and one selected by specific replacement references, which details matter most? Here, the listed model references and coarse-thread connection help guide the fit decision.

What to know

The cartridge is listed as compatible with 6CH-940, PWW50P3 and FC-0359, among other referenced filter models. It is explicitly not compatible with PWW50P4. Match the spa’s existing cartridge against the model references and dimensions before fitting. The manufacturer and part numbers named for compatibility are reference identifiers, Cryspool is the brand of this replacement filter.

In a typical maintenance routine, the cartridge sits in the spa’s filter assembly and is cleaned periodically according to the pressure gauge. Its pleated design supports washing and reuse, making it suitable for owners who want to maintain filtration without treating each cartridge as a one-time replacement.

What to clarify

Which replacement models are listed as compatible? The filter is listed for 6CH-940, PWW50P3 and Filbur FC-0359, along with other references. PWW50P4 is specifically excluded, so it should not be treated as an equivalent match.

What connection and dimensions should I match? It measures 8-1/4 inches long and 6 inches in outside diameter. The bottom has a 1-1/2-inch SAE thread, and the top has a circular handle.

How should the cartridge be cleaned? Clean the pleats when the pressure gauge reaches its predetermined value. The trilobal-fibre pleats are designed to be washed and reused.

When it makes sense

This Cryspool two-pack suits spa owners looking for a coarse-thread replacement with specific model references, a 45 sq. ft. filtration area and a washable pleated design. It is especially useful when the existing cartridge matches the listed connection, dimensions and compatible models, making routine filter care easier to plan.
