Inkfirst 2-Pack DR420 Compatible Drum Units for Brother Printers
Product description
This two-pack of Inkfirst DR420 compatible drum units is made for regular printing with selected Brother laser printers and multifunction devices. Each unit has a stated yield of 12,000 pages at 5% coverage. Use it when a drum needs replacing, or keep the second unit ready for a later change. It suits a different need than buying a single replacement: having two drum units on hand can make routine office supply planning more convenient.
How to use it
A drum unit works with the toner cartridge in a compatible printer. To install one, remove the pull paper and seat the toner cartridge firmly in the new drum unit, the green lock lever should lift when it is in place. Slide the corona-wire tab gently from side to side several times, then return it to its home position. Install the drum-and-toner assembly in the printer and reset the drum counter after replacing the unit, following the instructions provided with the drum unit. The toner cartridge is not included, so transfer a suitable cartridge to the replacement drum.
Check the exact printer model against the compatibility list before ordering. The two units are compatible with Brother DCP-7060D and DCP-7065DN, HL-2220, HL-2230, HL-2240, HL-2240D, HL-2270DW and HL-2280DW, IntelliFax-2840 and IntelliFax-2940, and MFC-7240, MFC-7360N, MFC-7365DN, MFC-7460DN and MFC-7860DW. This model-specific fit makes the pack relevant for replacing drums in supported Brother equipment rather than choosing a general-purpose printing supply.

Why it’s worth it
Having two replacement drums in one pack offers a practical way to prepare for more than one replacement, rather than sourcing a single unit each time. The stated 12,000-page yield at 5% coverage gives a useful reference for planning drum replacement around regular printing. Inkfirst says the units are made in ISO 9001-certified factories and are covered by a two-year guarantee against manufacturing defects. For offices and home workspaces using compatible Brother printers, that combination of a paired format and a defined yield helps make routine supply planning more straightforward.
When it makes sense
Choose this pack when your printer is one of the listed Brother models and you need compatible DR420 drums for black-and-white laser printing. It can also suit a workspace that prefers to keep a spare replacement available, while a single-unit purchase may be more appropriate when only one drum is needed immediately. A solid pick if you want two compatible drum units for supported DCP, HL, MFC or IntelliFax equipment, with the yield stated for planning everyday document printing.
