LOGASMART LC401XL Ink Cartridges, 5-Pack for Brother MFC-J1010DW, J1012DW & J1170DW

This five-cartridge set pairs two black cartridges with one each in cyan, magenta and yellow. It’s made for compatible Brother MFC-J1010DW, MFC-J1012DW and MFC-J1170DW inkjet printers. Choose a multi-colour replacement set when several inks need replenishing, for a single-colour top-up, an individual cartridge is a more focused purchase. The updated chip and stated page yields help make this pack a practical fit for regular document and colour printing.

Why it’s worth it

The pack brings black and colour replacements together, so you can refresh more than one cartridge from the same set. Two black cartridges are included for text-heavy work, alongside cyan, magenta and yellow for colour output. That combination suits a home or small-office routine that moves between everyday documents and pages where colour matters, without needing to assemble the colours separately.

The black LC401XL cartridges are rated for up to 560 pages each, while each standard colour cartridge is rated for up to 510 pages. These are stated yields, actual results can vary with what you print. The cartridge set is identified as compatible with the three Brother printer models listed below, making the exact printer match an important part of choosing it.

Highlights

LOGASMART describes the cartridges as upgraded with a latest chip. The set contains two black cartridges and one each of cyan, magenta and yellow, with water-based ink for multiple-colour inkjet output. For a household printing school or work documents, for example, the two black cartridges provide replacements for text printing while the three colours are on hand for graphics and other colour pages.

Buyer feedback on quality and compatibility is mixed. Some customers say the cartridges work properly with their printers, while others report performance or acceptance issues. The listed printer compatibility is therefore useful to match against your own device before selecting this set.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use this pack for a Brother MFC-J1010DW, MFC-J1012DW or MFC-J1170DW when you need replacement black and colour ink.
