For owners of compatible Brother colour laser printers, this RitoTech TN229XL set brings black, cyan, magenta and yellow toner together in one replacement pack. It is designed for listed Brother HL and MFC printer models, making it a practical way to replenish all four colour cartridges as part of the same purchase.

The included chip supports toner-level display, while the stated page yields help you plan replacements for regular printing.

The set covers both monochrome and colour printing needs across the listed compatible printers. What it works with

This cartridge set is listed as compatible with Brother HL-L3220CDW, HL-L3280CDW, HL-L3295CDW, HL-L3300CDW and HL-L8245CDW printers, as well as Brother MFC-L3720CDW, MFC-L3765CDW, MFC-L3780CDW and MFC-L8395CDW models. Check the model name on your printer against this list when choosing a replacement. The cartridges are intended for compatible Brother laser printers, not as a universal toner set for other printer brands.

Getting the most from it

Use the black cartridge for everyday text and monochrome documents, and the cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges for colour output on plain paper. For example, a small office printing a mix of forms, reports and colour handouts can keep each colour available from one coordinated set. The stated yields—up to 3,000 pages in black and up to 2,300 pages for each colour—offer a useful reference for planning toner changes, while actual use depends on what is printed. With the chip already installed, the set is ready to be fitted to a compatible printer without a separate chip-installation step.

Questions before you buy

Which cartridges are in the pack? It contains four TN229XL cartridges: one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow. This gives you the four listed toner colours together for compatible colour laser printing.

How many pages can the cartridges print? The stated yield is up to 3,000 pages for black and up to 2,300 pages per cyan, magenta and yellow cartridge. These figures provide a planning reference for replacing toner during regular printing.

How does the chip help? Each cartridge includes a chip for toner-level display. The chip is already installed, supporting printer toner-level reporting without a separate manual chip installation.

Is it worth it?

This four-pack suits Brother printer owners who want a single compatible set for black-and-colour printing, with the listed printer models and cartridge yields clearly defined. Compared with buying colours individually, the combined pack keeps all four toner colours together for routine document and colour printing. Choose it when your printer is one of the compatible models and you want an integrated chip for toner-level display.
