FEANDREA UPPD003B01 XXL Heavy-Duty Dog Crate, Steel, Two Doors, Removable Tray

For large dogs that need a defined indoor space, the FEANDREA UPPD003B01 offers an XXL steel enclosure measuring 48 x 29.3 x 31.7 inches. Its black metal-wire design keeps the space open and visible while giving your dog a dedicated place to settle.

Choose a fixed crate setup for everyday indoor use, or remove the top lid to create a more open playpen-style space. The removable door adds another way to adapt the enclosure to your home.

Two doors make access practical: the large entrance is suited to getting in and out, while the smaller door makes feeding and interaction easier. Five L-shaped locks and a pull-out tray round out a design focused on useful daily routines.

What to know

Made from alloy steel, this crate has a reinforced metal-wire frame described as rust-resistant, with smooth edges. The large door and smaller door offer different access points, and the low threshold is designed to make entry easier for short-legged dogs. Five L-shaped locks secure the doors, while two stoppers at the bottom help keep the tray from sliding out.

The tray pulls out for cleaning, so you can tidy the crate without having to move the whole enclosure. For a typical indoor routine, it can serve as a resting spot in a shared room, the wire construction keeps your dog visible and the space airy. Assembly uses eight screws.

Buyer feedback often highlights the generous space and straightforward assembly. Opinions on durability and security are mixed, so it is useful to consider your dog’s behaviour and how the crate will be used when choosing an enclosure. The product is recommended for dogs weighing 93–110 lb, including breeds such as German Shepherds, Alaskan Malamutes and Golden Retrievers.

Quick sizing guide

The listed size is 48 x 29.3 x 31.7 inches. To choose a crate size, measure your dog standing upright from nose to the base of the tail, then measure height from the top of the head to the floor while sitting upright. Add 4 inches to both the measured length and height, and use those figures to guide your size choice. This approach helps you compare your dog’s measurements with the enclosure rather than relying on breed name alone.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the pull-out tray to handle routine cleaning, and make the large door the main entry for your dog. The smaller door is handy when you need to offer food or interact without opening the full entrance. If a more open setup suits the moment, the top lid can be removed to convert the enclosure into a playpen-style space, the door can also be removed as needed.

For safety, remove your dog’s collar or leash before they enter the crate. The open-wire format suits indoor use when you want a defined resting area that remains easy to see into. If your priority is a conventional enclosed crate, keep the top in place, if you want the option of a more open arrangement, the removable components provide that flexibility.

Is it worth it?

This FEANDREA crate brings together an XXL footprint, two access doors, a removable tray and the option to use it without the top lid. Those features make it a practical fit for households looking for an indoor space for a large dog, especially when convenient feeding access and simpler tray cleaning matter. Its adjustable setup also gives you a choice between a familiar crate arrangement and a more open playpen-style layout.
