DumFurc dogball-oct08 18" Inflatable Herding Ball with 5 Handles, Blue

Pros

At 18", this blue inflatable herding ball gives active dogs a larger target to chase, push and carry outdoors. Its five handles give dogs places to grip and drag the ball during play. For dogs that enjoy moving an object around, it offers a different kind of activity from a standard ball that’s mainly rolled or thrown for fetching. The anti-burst material is designed for persistent pushing by medium and large breeds, including herding dogs such as Australian Shepherds and Border Collies.

Use it in a backyard or at a park to encourage chasing and pushing as part of outdoor exercise. The ball’s size and handle design make it suited to interactive play that involves moving the ball around, rather than relying only on a person to throw it. You’ll like it if you want a dog ball that gives your dog more ways to engage with it.

Key features

The 18" format is the selected size for this version, 22" and 25" sizes are also offered in the product range. Five handles let a dog pick up, carry or drag the ball, adding options to a game of fetch or a session focused on pushing. The ball is inflatable, and a hand pump is included for setup. Its blue colour makes it easy to identify as a dedicated outdoor toy.

A herding ball suits dogs drawn to chasing and nudging moving objects. Rather than choosing a smaller ball primarily for throwing and retrieving, this format is intended to give medium and large dogs a bigger object to move with their nose and paws. That makes it a practical choice for backyard play or a trip to the park when you want to give a high-energy dog an outlet for natural chasing and pushing behaviour.

Usage tips

Inflate the ball with the included hand pump before play. Choose an open outdoor area, such as a backyard or park, where your dog has room to chase, push and move around the ball. The handles provide useful points for carrying and dragging, so play can include both independent movement and an interactive game with you. You can encourage your dog to nudge the ball across the space, then let them pick it up or pull it along by a handle.
