Coachi 41540A Tuggi Helix Dog Tug Toy with Woven Nylon and Soft Handle

For a lively tug or chase session, the Coachi Tuggi Helix gives you a toy to share with your dog while keeping a comfortable hold on your end. Its intricately woven nylon design pairs with a strong bungee and soft neoprene handle, making it suited to interactive play and reward-based training.

Use it as a play reward when your dog responds to games more readily than treats. The Tuggi Helix is designed for puppies and adult dogs of all breeds and sizes.

How it fits

The Tuggi Helix is made for play between you and your dog, rather than as a toy to leave out for solo chewing. Bring it into a short training session or a game of tug, then put it away so it remains a special reward for interactive play. That approach helps keep the toy associated with your time together and gives you a practical alternative or addition to food rewards.

Its woven shape supports tug and chase games, while the soft neoprene handle gives you a comfortable place to hold as your dog engages with the toy. The design is intended for dogs of all breeds and ages, including puppies. For puppy training, redirect mouthing and play biting towards the toy and continue the game as a shared activity.

Why it’s worth it

Play can be a useful reward for dogs that are more motivated by interaction than by food. The Tuggi Helix is designed to make that reward part of training, with suggested uses including practising recall, agility and discouraging chasing. A game can add an engaging moment to a session while giving your dog a clear reason to return to you or focus on the activity.

The bungee and woven construction make this a tug toy for energetic games, and the handle keeps the person holding it involved. It can also help redirect a dog’s attention during play biting or chewing, particularly when you guide the interaction towards the toy. Compared with relying on treats alone, it offers a play-based reward to use on its own or alongside food rewards. Keeping it for shared play helps preserve its role as a training motivator.
