COSY HOMEER Plaid Stair Treads, 15-Piece Washable Set, 9" x 28", Brown
Product description
Each COSY HOMEER plaid stair tread measures 9" x 28" and has a 100% polyester surface. The brown-and-white pattern brings a coordinated look to indoor steps, while the soft fabric adds a more comfortable surface underfoot. A self-adhesive TPE backing helps each tread stay in place without glue or tape.
Who it’s for
These stair treads are designed for households looking to add a softer, non-slip surface to indoor stairs. Their fabric finish and grip-focused backing make them relevant for family homes with children, older adults or pets, where confident footing on the steps matters. The polyester weave is also described as helping reduce footstep noise, which can make everyday trips between floors quieter.
The set includes 15 treads, so it provides matching coverage across a run of stairs. Each piece measures 9" x 28", a useful size to consider when planning how the pattern will sit on the steps. The brown-and-white plaid design offers a visible accent while keeping the stair surface practical for daily use.

Benefits
The TPE backing is self-adhesive, so the treads can be placed directly on interior stairs without applying glue or tape. The backing is intended to help secure them while avoiding adhesive residue on the staircase. If you want to adjust a tread’s position, it can be peeled off and placed again. This offers a flexible alternative to a permanently attached stair covering when you want a defined surface that can be repositioned.
The soft, thick polyester surface adds comfort at each step, while its weave is designed to stand up to wear and reduce noise from foot traffic. That combination suits busy indoor staircases used throughout the day. The treads are described for interior hardwood, laminate, tile and glass stairs, bringing a consistent look and added grip to a range of listed surfaces.
Cleaning is straightforward: the reusable treads can go in the washing machine. The TPE underside is designed to retain its anti-slip properties through repeated washing. Follow the care guidance by using pH-neutral detergent and allowing the treads to dry without heating devices.
When it makes sense
Choose this set when you want matching, washable covers for an indoor staircase rather than a permanent glued or taped treatment. For example, the plaid treads can define the walking surface on a frequently used set of hardwood or laminate steps, while the soft fabric helps make each trip more comfortable and the backing provides a non-slip design.
The 15-piece format is suited to covering multiple steps with a coordinated pattern. Measure the available step area against the 9" x 28" tread size before arranging the set, then place each piece on the intended surface. For an indoor stairway that benefits from a softer feel, quieter footsteps and machine-washable upkeep, COSY HOMEER combines those practical details in one plaid tread set.
