SPRINGSPIRIT Waterproof Twin Mattress Protector, Terry Surface, Quiet and Breathable

A waterproof TPU backing helps shield a twin mattress from spills, while the terry surface adds a soft layer for everyday sleep. The fitted design uses elastic around the edges for easy placement and removal. Need protection that stays comfortable under your sheets? This cover is designed to be quiet and breathable as well as practical to wash.

Tips for day-to-day use

Fit the protector over a twin mattress measuring 39 x 75 inches, with a depth of up to 14 inches. Its all-around elastic helps hold it in place, and makes taking it off for laundry straightforward. For a fresh sleep setup, machine-wash it with regular household detergent that does not contain bleach, then tumble-dry on low heat. Do not iron.

The waterproof layer is intended to help protect the mattress from spills, sweat and other everyday liquid accidents. That makes the fitted cover useful in a child’s room, for a bed shared with a pet, or wherever an extra barrier can help keep the mattress cleaner. It can also be used as a protective layer for adults who want help managing occasional nighttime spills.

Strengths

The terry surface is described as soft, breathable and hypoallergenic, while the TPU backing provides the waterproof barrier without the plastic noise associated with some mattress covers. Together, these features are intended to add protection without turning the bed into a noisy or uncomfortable-feeling sleep surface. The product description also identifies its materials as OEKO-TEX certified.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights the fitted feel and usefulness as a basic mattress protector. Experiences with liquid protection vary, however, and some buyers describe the cover as very thin. Those different impressions are worth weighing when choosing a fitted protector for everyday use. Compared with a full zip-around mattress encasement, this elastic-sided style is a simpler fit for covering the sleeping surface and mattress sides while keeping it easy to remove for washing.
