NICETOWN 2 Rainbow Blackout Curtains, 52 x 45 in, Set of 2

Add colour and privacy to a small kitchen window, nursery or bedroom with two short NICETOWN curtain panels in a rainbow-striped design. Each panel measures 52" W x 45" L, giving the pair a combined width of 104". The blackout lining is designed to block 85%–99% of light, helping create a darker, more private space when you want a break from bright daylight.

Silver grommets make the panels straightforward to hang on a suitable curtain rod, while the colourful pattern brings a lively alternative to plain short curtains. Where would a bright accent make the biggest difference in your room? These panels are also suited to dorm rooms, playrooms and party décor.

Why it makes sense

A short curtain can add coverage and colour without overwhelming a smaller window. These panels pair a rainbow-striped look with blackout lining, so they serve a decorative purpose while helping reduce incoming light and support privacy. The manufacturer describes the fabric as thermally insulated and energy-efficient, adding another practical feature to the room-darkening design.

The set includes two panels, each 52" W x 45" L. Together, they provide 104" of listed panel width, making it easier to plan the window treatment as a pair rather than source matching curtains separately. The cheerful colours suit a child’s bedroom or nursery, while the short length also works well in a kitchen or dorm where a full-length drape may not fit the look.

What matters most

The curtains are made from 100% polyester and have a blackout lining made from 100% polyester. Their stated light-blocking range is 85%–99%, and the room-darkening design can be useful for naps, quiet time or reducing bright light in a bedroom. They also provide privacy while adding a colourful focal point to the window.

Grommet tops make the panels easy to slide along a curtain rod. The set is described as suitable for standard or decorative rods, with a listed fit for rods up to 1.6 inches. Measure the window and rod before choosing a hanging position so the panels sit as intended. Compared with solid-colour short curtains, the rainbow stripes make the window treatment itself a more noticeable part of the room’s décor.

Care & maintenance

Machine washing makes routine care simple. The care guidance recommends low ironing and says not to bleach. Following those instructions helps keep the polyester panels ready for everyday use in a kitchen, bedroom, nursery or dorm. For installation, thread the rod through the grommets and arrange the two panels across the window, the pair’s listed total width is 104".

Worth considering if you want short curtains that combine a colourful rainbow design with blackout lining and practical privacy.
