BENFEI 000425black 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual Switches
Product description
With seven USB 3.0 ports and a 3.3 ft cable, the BENFEI 000425black hub gives a laptop or desktop more room for everyday USB peripherals. Connect devices such as a keyboard, mouse, printer, flash drive or external hard drive through one hub, while individual switches let you manage each port separately.
Its slim, portable format suits a fixed desk setup as well as a workspace where you move between locations. Choose it to bring several USB connections together, if your priority is charging devices, this data-transfer hub is designed for a different task.
Why it’s worth it
Adding seven ports makes it easier to keep commonly used accessories connected without repeatedly swapping plugs at your computer. That can be especially useful when a desk setup includes a keyboard and mouse alongside storage, a printer or a card reader. The 3.3 ft cable also gives you flexibility in where the hub sits, so connected devices can be arranged around your workspace.
Each port has its own on/off switch and LED indicator. You can control individual connections at the hub rather than unplugging a device whenever you want to disconnect it. Buyers also highlight the convenience of the separate controls, straightforward setup and extra port capacity, making these practical details central to the hub’s appeal.
Key features
The hub provides USB 3.0 data transfer at up to 5 Gbps and works with USB 2.0 and USB 1.0 devices, so it can serve a mix of newer and older peripherals. Its seven ports support connections for items such as flash drives, keyboards, mice, printers, cameras, card readers, hard disk drives and USB fans. It is intended for data transfer and does not charge devices.
Compatibility includes Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP, as well as Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS. For a compact setup that needs added USB access, it offers a more consolidated approach than carrying separate adapters for each peripheral.
How to use it
Connect the hub to your computer, then plug in the USB peripherals you want to use. The individual switches and indicator lights make it easy to manage connections at the hub, while the extended cable helps position it within reach. For example, a home-office setup can keep a keyboard, mouse and printer connected alongside a flash drive or external hard drive, ready to access through the same hub.
Before you decide
How many devices can I connect? The hub has seven USB 3.0 ports, allowing you to connect up to seven USB peripherals at the same time.

Which operating systems does it support? It supports Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP, along with Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS.
Is it worth it?

Its USB 3.0 data-transfer capability and compatibility with earlier USB devices make it a practical way to organize everyday connections at a desk or when working across different spaces.
