FEMILA Flush Mount Ceiling Light, 12-inch

If you want a ceiling fixture that sits close to the ceiling, this FEMILA light takes up less visual space than a hanging pendant. Its matte black, donut-shaped frame and clear hand-blown glass shade bring a defined modern or industrial look to a bedroom, hallway, entryway or kitchen. The listed dimensions are 11.8 inches long and wide, and 5.5 inches high. Choose it for a compact decorative fixture, if you need a stronger room-wide lighting setup, a single-bulb ceiling light may not be enough on its own.

Where it shines

The close-to-ceiling format is useful in rooms where a hanging fixture would feel in the way or dominate the view. Picture it in an entryway: the black frame gives the ceiling a focal point, while the clear glass shade keeps the fixture from reading as a solid dark disc. It can also suit a bedroom or hallway where you want a consistent look without adding a pendant.

The E26 base accepts compatible LED, incandescent, CFL and Edison-style bulbs up to 60W, the bulb is not included. That leaves you to choose the bulb style and brightness for your space, rather than having a light source supplied with the fixture. It is dimmable only when paired with a suitable bulb and dimmer switch, so the fixture alone does not provide dimming control.

Highlights

The main draw is the combination of a matte black finish and clear glass. It can work with modern, industrial or minimalist decor, and the compact dimensions make it a practical alternative to larger or hanging fixtures. Mounting hardware is included, though the listing’s installation claim does not establish how straightforward the job will be in every home, existing ceiling conditions can affect the work.

Te conviene si you want a visible design detail in a modest footprint and are comfortable selecting an E26 bulb separately. No es para ti si you need an included bulb, integrated light source or a fixture with several bulbs for broader illumination. Based on the listed details, the 60W maximum is a useful limit to keep in mind when deciding whether one fixture can meet the room’s lighting needs.

Best use cases

Consider it for an entryway, hallway, bedroom or kitchen ceiling where a flush-mounted design makes more sense than a pendant. In a kitchen, it may add ambient light, but the listing does not specify light output or beam spread, so it should not be treated as a guaranteed replacement for focused task lighting over a work surface. If you prioritize a low-profile fixture with a black-and-glass look, this design fits that brief, if you prefer an all-in-one purchase with the bulb included, another format may suit you better.

The listing also suggests coordinating it with black pendant lights, but no matching fixture is included. Treat that as a possible styling approach rather than a bundle or confirmed match with a specific product.

Final thoughts

This FEMILA flush mount is worth considering when the finish and compact shape matter as much as the light itself. Its clear dome and matte black frame give it more visual character than a plain basic ceiling fitting, while the E26 socket lets you select a compatible bulb. The trade-off is that you must supply the bulb, and the 60W maximum and single socket may not suit a room that needs substantial illumination from one fixture. Buy it for a close-to-ceiling accent in a smaller or secondary space, look for a higher-output or multi-bulb approach if lighting coverage is your priority.
