Emliviar Pendant Light, Black and Gold Finish

For a kitchen island, dining nook or hallway that needs a focused overhead light, this Emliviar pendant uses a black-and-gold metal cage design rather than a shade that hides the fixture. Its inner frame rotates 360 degrees, and the hanging rod is adjustable, which gives you some flexibility when planning how it sits in the room. It’s hard-wired, so it suits a fixed lighting point rather than a space where you need a plug-in lamp. Keep in mind that the bulb is not included, so you’ll need to choose one separately.

Key specifications

This is a single-light pendant with a black and gold finish. It takes one E26-base bulb rated up to 60W, incandescent, LED and CFL bulbs are listed as compatible types. The fixture measures 8.7 × 7.7 × 11.5 inches, and the ceiling canopy is 4.8 inches in diameter. The supplied adjustable rod is 45 inches long and consists of one 6-inch section and three 12-inch sections. The product is listed as ETL certified and carries a one-year warranty, according to the manufacturer.

The adjustable rod and 360-degree rotating inner frame offer practical positioning options, but the listing doesn’t specify dimming support or provide a bulb. If lighting control matters to you, don’t assume the pendant itself includes that feature, the details provided don’t establish it.

Who it’s for

This fixture is suited to a kitchen, dining room, hall, foyer, bar, club or restaurant where a single pendant fits the lighting plan. For example, above a compact dining table or at one end of an island, the cage shape can add a defined pool of light without using a larger multi-light fixture. It’s a good choice if you want a hard-wired, metal pendant with a black-and-gold look and some flexibility in hanging height.

Compared with a simpler fixed pendant, the adjustable rod and rotatable inner frame give you more ways to position this design. A single light won’t serve the same purpose as a row of pendants or a broader multi-light fixture, though, so consider the area you need to illuminate before choosing it. It may not suit you if you need a plug-in light, want the bulb included, or are shopping for a fixture that lights a large area on its own.

What’s included

The package includes mounting hardware and the rod sections described above. The bulb is not included. The fixture is hard-wired and is described as compatible with sloped ceilings, which may help when the ceiling isn’t level. Installation is presented as easy, but no further installation steps or electrical requirements are provided, so plan for the fitting to connect to a suitable ceiling wiring point.

Three specific questions

Does it come with a bulb? No. It requires one E26-base bulb, up to 60W, and the listed options are incandescent, LED or CFL.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling? The product description says it is compatible with sloped ceilings. It doesn’t give a slope range or further mounting details.

Can the hanging length be adjusted? Yes. It comes with a 45-inch adjustable rod made up of one 6-inch section and three 12-inch sections. The listing doesn’t specify every possible configuration.

Final verdict

Choose this Emliviar pendant if you’re after a single hard-wired cage light, like the black-and-gold finish and can work with the supplied adjustable rod. Its rotating inner frame and stated sloped-ceiling compatibility add useful flexibility. Look elsewhere if you need multiple light sources, a plug-in fitting or a bulb included, those needs aren’t covered by this fixture as described.
