YDLawn 2503 20V Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer, 15-Ft Reach, 22-Inch Blades
Product description
Tips for day-to-day use
Trimming the tops and far edges of tall hedges is easier when the cutting head can reach above and beyond arm’s length. The YDLawn 2503 combines a telescoping extension pole with a cordless 20V design, giving you up to 15 feet of reach for shaping hedges, shrubs, and bushes without using a ladder.
Its 150° rotating head locks into multiple positions, so you can set the blade angle for different faces and contours. For a tidy-up around the yard, use the adjustable head to work across the hedge top and then reposition it for the sides. The detachable, foldable design also makes the tool easier to store and transport between jobs.
Why it’s worth it
A pole trimmer offers a different approach from a handheld hedge trimmer: instead of keeping the cutting head close to your hands, it extends your working reach for elevated growth. Here, an 8-foot telescoping pole provides up to 15 feet of reach, while a 22-inch dual-action blade helps cover a broad section of hedge with each pass. Its 5/8-inch cutting capacity is suited to trimming thicker branches as well as shaping dense shrubs.
The cordless setup includes two 20V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries and a fast charger. The stated runtime is up to two hours, supporting longer outdoor trimming sessions, and the motor reaches up to 3,000 RPM. At 8.8 pounds, the trimmer is designed to stay manageable for yard maintenance, customer feedback on weight is mixed, while buyers also highlight its reach, ease of use, power, and battery life.
