Everyday use

Use the five tray compartments to sort coins, while keeping other items in the compartment underneath. This two-level layout gives coins and cash or checks separate places, which can be useful when handling payments at a small retail counter or organizing receipts and change at home. The handle makes the box portable between a work surface and a cabinet, and the key lock adds a controlled way to close it when it is not in use.

Compared with an open cash tray, this box combines coin organization with covered storage and a key lock in one portable unit. Buyers appreciate its usefulness for keeping money and personal documents together. Feedback is mixed on whether U.S. bills fit comfortably in the tray, so the tray’s five compartments are best suited to coin sorting, the lower compartment is intended for cash and checks. Some buyers also report concerns with keys becoming stuck or the lock being easy to pick, so consider those experiences when choosing a lockbox for your needs.

Getting the most from it

Set the box on a stable tabletop or counter, then use the removable tray to keep coins separated by type or denomination. The lower compartment can hold cash, checks, or receipts apart from the coins above. For a yard sale, for example, the carry handle makes it practical to bring the box to the selling area, while the key lock lets you close it when stepping away. At home or in an office, its compact footprint makes it suitable for a drawer, cabinet, or desk area where everyday cash and paperwork need a dedicated place.

Should you buy it?

Choose this xydled model if you want a portable cash box with a key lock and built-in coin organization rather than a simple open tray. Its five-compartment removable insert, separate lower storage area, and carry handle support everyday cash handling at home, in an office, or at a small retail setup. The black finish and compact dimensions make it a practical fit for keeping coins and related items grouped on a counter or stored away between uses.
