XinDoingNow MGG-B-0.5C-14C-4G Black Pipe Fittings, 1/2" x 14", 4-Pack
Product description
Some DIY projects need a finished industrial look, while others call for bare materials you can paint yourself. These XinDoingNow black pipe fittings come pre-painted, so they’re ready to bring a matte black accent to shelves, racks, and furniture projects. What can that finish help you create? A coordinated decorative detail for a custom build, without adding a separate spray-painting step.
Tips for day-to-day use
Use the four galvanized steel pipes for decorative DIY projects such as a toilet paper holder, towel rack, storage shelf, shoe cabinet, handrail, chair, or kitchen support frame. Their black, pre-coated finish suits vintage and industrial-inspired interiors, and the dual coating is designed to resist rust and discoloration during indoor use. That helps keep surrounding walls and furniture looking neat.
Each pipe is threaded at both ends. The threads are not fully compatible with standard NPT threads, so check the sizing for your intended decorative assembly before ordering. These fittings are for decorative DIY use only, not for water or gas line plumbing. For a project that needs a finished black surface, the pre-painted coating offers a direct alternative to starting with bare pipe and applying paint yourself.

Why it’s worth it
The practical advantage is the combination of a ready-to-use black finish and a size suited to a range of small furniture and storage builds. Use the pipes as visible structural elements in a custom shelf or rack, or as part of a holder that brings a consistent industrial detail into a kitchen or bathroom. Since the finish is already applied, you can focus on planning and assembling the decorative project rather than adding a painting step.
Customers have described the fittings as solid and of nice quality, while compatibility has also been a concern among some buyers. The thread detail matters here: these pipes are not fully compatible with standard NPT threads, and their intended use is decorative rather than plumbing. That distinction helps keep the fittings matched to the right kind of project.
