BOZZON AP24x24 Drywall Access Panel, 24 x 24 in, White Plastic

The 24 x 24 in mounting size of the BOZZON AP24x24 access panel provides a dedicated opening for reaching concealed systems behind drywall. Its white plastic frame and door cover the wall or ceiling opening while keeping plumbing, wiring, and other services accessible when needed.

The hinged door opens up to 180° or can be removed, making it easier to work through the opening. The panel can be flush or surface mounted, so it suits different drywall installation approaches.

Everyday use

Use this panel to create a covered access point for plumbing valves, electrical or internet wiring, TV connections, security systems, sprinklers, or HVAC components. For example, a panel near a plumbing shutoff can conceal the opening during everyday use and provide a route to the valve when service is needed. It can also cover an existing wall or ceiling opening where ongoing access matters.

The door opens wide for access, and its removable design offers another way to clear the opening while working. For projects that need a specific access size, the 24 x 24 in mounting measurement gives a clear starting point for planning the drywall cutout. BOZZON lists the panel for residential and commercial drywall installations.

Pros

The panel combines concealed coverage with practical access, rather than leaving a service opening exposed or relying on a simple cover that must be removed as a separate piece. Its hinged door is designed to open broadly, and the option to remove it can help when a task calls for a less obstructed opening. The plastic construction is described as upgraded to 3.6 mm thickness for increased rigidity, including for ceiling installations.

Buyers often highlight the glue-in installation approach, the appearance against a wall, and the useful access it provides. Feedback on operation is mixed: some appreciate how easily the door opens and closes, while others find it harder to operate properly. This is a practical choice when the priority is a clean-looking cover and a reusable access point for systems behind drywall.

Practical questions

What opening size is this panel designed for? Its listed mounting size is 24 x 24 in, a useful measurement for planning the drywall access opening.

How is the panel installed? Mark and cut along the pencil outline, apply sealant, then press the panel firmly into place. The listed installation method does not require screws, it can be flush or surface mounted.

Can the door be taken off for access? Yes. The hinged door opens up to 180°, and it can also be removed when that better suits the work being done.

Is it worth it?

For a drywall project that needs a large, covered route to plumbing, wiring, HVAC, or other listed systems, the BOZZON AP24x24 brings together a 24 x 24 in mounting size, a hinged or removable door, and flush or surface mounting. It is especially useful when access needs to remain available without leaving the service opening exposed between maintenance tasks.
