Vivifying Snuffle Mat for Dogs-2, 26 x 16.5-Inch Treat Puzzle for Slow Feeding

Eight places to hide treats turn feeding into a sniff-and-search activity, giving small and medium dogs, cats, and rabbits a way to explore food at their own pace. The 26 x 16.5-inch felt mat is designed for indoor use and brings enrichment play into a familiar space.

Use it for treats or food when you want to add a foraging game to mealtime or offer an activity during indoor play. Compared with serving food in a regular bowl, the mat makes pets search through its hiding spots, it can also be used for treat-based play without making a full meal the focus.

Practical tips

Spread dry food or treats among the mat’s hiding spots to create a simple search activity, then let your pet work through them by sniffing. This format can add a slower, more engaging approach to feeding and provide a brain game for indoor play or training. Adjust how much food you use to suit the feeding occasion, and place the mat where your pet can focus on the activity.

The felt construction is washable, and the two elastic straps can be fastened around the mat for storage. The manufacturer recommends washing it once before use to help it take shape. The material is not chewproof, so this mat is not recommended for extra-large dogs or aggressive chewers, it is best suited to the small- and medium-size pets listed for the product.

Buyer feedback often highlights that the sniffing activity keeps dogs engaged and occupied during feeding. Opinions about the material and durability are mixed: some buyers appreciate its sturdiness, while others describe it as stiff or report that it comes apart. These are individual experiences, rather than a guarantee of how the mat will hold up with every pet or use pattern.
