Vet Promise CALM44 Dog Calming Chews with Melatonin and Hemp Oil, 120 Count

Dogs that get unsettled by separation, car rides, vet visits, thunderstorms, or other stressful situations may benefit from a calming chew as part of their routine.

Vet Promise CALM44 soft chews are made for dogs of small, medium, and large sizes. Their chicken flavor gives the chew format a treat-like option for everyday calming support.

The formula features melatonin and hemp oil, along with valerian root and chamomile. It is made in the USA and formulated by veterinarians in an FDA-registered facility.

Practical tips

Match the use to the situation: travel anxiety and vet visits call for a different routine than thunderstorm or noise sensitivity at home, and these chews are positioned for both kinds of stress support. If you want a treat-format option to add to your dog's routine, the soft-chew format is a practical distinction from approaches focused only on environmental adjustments. Keep familiar routines and surroundings in mind as you choose how to support your dog during a trigger.

Dogs can respond differently to a flavored chew. Buyer feedback reflects that range: some dogs accept the chicken-flavored treats readily, while others refuse them. Some buyers also report vomiting or diarrhea and raise concerns about expiration dates. Check the package date and observe your dog when introducing a new chew, contact your veterinarian if you notice a concerning reaction.

Why it’s worth it

The appeal is its range of intended calming uses in a familiar treat format. The product is described for everyday stress and nervous behavior as well as travel, separation, thunderstorms, and noise sensitivity, so it can suit households whose dogs encounter more than one type of trigger. A 120-count container provides a larger supply of soft chews for a continuing routine, while the chicken flavor offers a treat-style presentation.

The ingredient profile includes melatonin, hemp oil, valerian root, and chamomile, and the chews are made without added sugar, wheat, corn, GMOs, or preservatives, according to the product details. These are formulation details, not a promise that every dog will respond the same way, the varied buyer feedback on taste makes individual acceptance an important part of choosing a chew.

Buying verdict

Vet Promise CALM44 is a relevant choice for dog owners seeking a soft chew for calming support across situations such as travel, separation, and storms. Its broad range of stated uses, chicken flavor, and 120-count format make it especially suited to adding a treat-style option to a dog's stress-support routine.
