Everyday use

Offer a stick as a focused chewing activity at home, whether your dog is settling down after play or enjoying a quiet break. The firm chew is made for dogs that like to work on a treat, including aggressive chewers, while its long-lasting format can keep chewing time engaging. The product is also described as supporting dental health, adding a practical benefit to a treat that gives dogs something satisfying to do.

These chews take a different approach from rawhide treats: they’re made from yak and cow milk with salt and lime, and are rawhide-free. Their limited-ingredient recipe can also be a useful detail when choosing a straightforward snack. For dogs that enjoy a hard chew, the large-stick format offers a substantial treat suited to medium and large breeds. Use it as an occasional chew or as part of a regular treat routine, alongside your dog’s usual food and activities.

When a dog leaves a small piece, the manufacturer says it can be microwaved to make a crunchy puff. This gives the remaining piece another use as a treat. Follow the product’s preparation directions when making the puff before offering it to your dog.

What you get

The package contains four large yak cheese chews. Keep the sticks available for chewing sessions at home, or set one aside as a treat for a day when your dog could use a satisfying activity. With four in the pack, you can rotate them through your treat routine rather than relying on a single chew.

Practical questions

What are the chews made from? Each stick is made with yak milk, cow milk, salt, and lime. The product is described as natural, limited ingredient, lactose-free, and gluten-free.

Are these chews intended for medium and large dogs? Yes. The large size is recommended for medium and large breeds, and the product is listed for all life stages.

Can you use the leftover piece? The manufacturer suggests microwaving leftover pieces to turn them into a crunchy puff. Prepare the piece according to the product directions before serving it.

When it makes sense

Choose these STRELLALAB chews when you want a long-lasting, milk-based treat for a medium or large dog that enjoys a firm chew. Real yak milk, a four-ingredient recipe, and a rawhide-free format make them a distinctive alternative to conventional rawhide chews, while the four large sticks are convenient for keeping several chewing sessions in your treat rotation.
