Veken SP3V115 Shower Filter, Chrome, One-Press Cartridge Replacement

Who it’s for

For households looking to reduce free available chlorine in shower water, the Veken SP3V115 is an inline shower filter designed to fit between the shower arm and shower head. Its chrome finish and compact profile suit bathroom setups where a bulky filter could extend the shower head farther downward.

A one-press cartridge design also makes routine filter changes straightforward: replace the cartridge without reinstalling the shower head each time.

Why it’s worth it

The filter combines three types of media in a design without non-filtering fillers. Its U-shaped channel extends the water path through the filter, keeping water in contact with the media for longer. The product is intended to help reduce free available chlorine, supporting a fresher, more comfortable shower experience.

Lead and sulphide performance was evaluated under controlled laboratory conditions. These tests address selected shower-water concerns, including lead as a heavy metal contaminant and sulphide, which can contribute to unpleasant water odor. The filter’s documented purpose is focused on shower water, rather than serving as a general-purpose water treatment system.

Would a filter that changes cartridges without taking apart the shower setup make upkeep easier? The one-press replacement is designed for exactly that routine, while the compact housing helps preserve usable shower space compared with more downward-extending filter designs.

Before you decide

How does the Veken SP3V115 connect? It uses a universal 1/2-inch connection and installs between the shower arm and the shower head. The four-step installation process uses the supplied instruction manual and installation accessories.

How often should the cartridge be replaced? The recommended replacement interval is every three months. The one-press mechanism lets you change the cartridge without reinstalling the shower head after each replacement.

What does the filter’s testing cover? Its performance was evaluated in controlled laboratory conditions for lead and sulphide. The filter is also described as helping reduce free available chlorine in shower water.

When it makes sense

This filter is a practical match for a shower setup that needs an inline chlorine-reducing option with a compact shape and a simple cartridge-change routine. Install it between the shower arm and shower head, then use the recommended cartridge schedule to keep maintenance predictable. For shoppers choosing between a larger downward-extending filter and a more space-conscious design, the Veken’s compact housing and U-shaped water path offer a clear, use-focused combination.
