Aojuxix FANG-CA xinxin Shower Drain Hair Catcher, Stainless Steel and Silicone

Small, closely spaced holes catch human and pet hair while letting shower water drain through. The Aojuxix FANG-CA xinxin pairs a stainless steel cover with a soft silicone rim to help keep hair from slipping beneath it. Its 6.85-by-6.85-inch square shape is designed to cover flat, round or square shower drains. Measure the drain before purchase, it is intended for drains under 6.1 inches.

Where it shines

This removable cover offers a straightforward way to collect hair and debris at the shower drain rather than letting them pass into the plumbing. Its dense openings are designed to block hair while still allowing water to flow, making it useful in everyday showers and in bathrooms where people or pets shed hair. The square cover can sit over either a round or square flat drain, so the drain’s shape does not have to match the cover’s outline.

The stainless steel construction gives the cover weight, while the silicone edge rests against the floor to help close gaps around it. Together, these details are intended to keep the catcher positioned over the drain and reduce the chance of hair slipping around the edge. Its gray, polished finish gives it a simple look that can blend into a shower floor.

Key points

The cover measures 6.85 by 6.85 inches and is designed for drains under 6.1 inches. Check the drain’s opening size before placing it so the cover can sit over the drain as intended. Its 0.21-inch height gives it a low-profile shape, and the soft silicone rim is designed not to scratch feet.

Unlike a catcher fitted inside the drain, this design sits on top of the shower floor and can be lifted off for cleaning. That makes it a practical choice for people who want visible, easy-to-reach hair collection. Buyers often praise how well it catches hair, how easily hair can be removed from the surface, and its appearance in the shower. Feedback on stability is mixed: some say it stays in place, while others report that it can move when bumped. Durability comments also vary, so routine handling and placement matter.

Care & maintenance

No special installation is required: place the catcher over the shower drain after confirming the fit. To clean it, remove collected hair with a paper towel and rinse the cover with water. This simple lift-and-rinse routine makes it easy to clear hair after a shower and put the cover back in position. Because the cover sits on the floor, avoid stepping on it, the product guidance notes that doing so can create a slipping risk.

Is it worth it?

For a shower where loose hair routinely gathers near the drain, this cover combines a broad square surface with small drainage holes, a silicone edge and an easy-to-remove design. It suits shoppers who prefer to collect hair on a lift-off surface rather than rely on a catcher inside the drain. The size and drain fit are the key selection details: when they match the shower, the Aojuxix FANG-CA xinxin provides a simple, accessible way to catch hair and clear it during regular bathroom cleanup.
